3rd Floor Common Room [Friday Night]

Still leery of the energy emanating from the 2nd Floor Common Room, Bridge decides to move up a floor. He's sprawled on a couch, reading a book he'd bought from the Book Fair, with several other books spread out on the couch around him.

Parker swallowed, then laughed a little. "I'm sorry if I freaked you out. Yesterday was just one long nightmare. Mostly because it seemed plausible."

Parker looked down at her hands. Her father still hadn't called back. "Not especially."

She probably didn't look convinced. "If it comes back again, I will not be responsible for what I do." Her mouth quirked. "But I think killing things will definitely help."

"Or you're insane." But Parker was smiling again. "Okay. Fair enough. I think this just hit close to home. Although? I know the people we've got here can handle themselves. So that helps."
