Fourth Floor Comon Room: Saturday Night

Lana curls up on the couch in the common room and turns on the TV. She seems in a particularly good mood - must be to be venturing out to the common room. She kind of misses all the kittens, but she's not missing the frogs at all.

It occurs to her she's kept pretty much to herself what with one thing and another and she wonders if she'll ever meet all the new kids. Ah, well, what will be will be. In the meantime, she's out in the common room and more than happy to chat with anyone who might stop by.

Lana waved happily at him, "Hey, Tim!"

"How's your saturday?"

"So far, so good," she said happily. "Everything's going well. How about you?"

"Also well. I was worried that Gwynn would be pissed at me for freaking her out on wednsday but that didn't happen, and I'm looking forward to tomorrow night." he showed the flyer.

"Well, that's good," Lana replied. "Glad she's not upset with you. And yeah, looks like a fun movie night."

Jude bounced off the doorframe a bit as he slouched into the lounge. His depth perception is a little bit off from earlier, but he managed to hit an armchair alright, sprawling over it bonelessly, giving Lana a small salute. "Hey, bra."

"Hey, Jude, how's it going?" Lana smiles at him.

"Pretty good," he said with a mellow shrug. "Got turned into a canary today."

Lana blinked. "A canary?" she asked. "How...? That must have been... disconcerting."

"Ate somethin' at the joke shop," Jude replied, seemingly unconcerned. "Flew into a wall. Not cool."

Ranma passes by on his way back from a handwavey trip to the library to get computer books. He waves to the girl he doesn't know. "Yo there floor mate."

Lana smiles at him. "Hey, Ranma, good to see you!"

She knows him, uh oh, he forgot her name "Hi there! Good to see you too."

"Come on in and join us," she says cheerfully. "We're just hanging out and being mellow."

He waves at Tim and tries to smile at Jude, they were in a fight rescently.

Yes, Sakurazaki is distracted enough that she doesn't quite realize at first that the common room, which is commonly empty when she gets there, is reasonably crowded (for her anyway; who the people are is a definate factor here) but when she, tired of failed attempts to meditate, grabs one of her new books and heads down the hall.

She stops a bit abruptly at the door, wondering if it's too late to just turn around. Probably, definately. So she smiles a little timidly from the doorframe, clutching her book close.

"Setsuna!" Jude bounced up enthusiastically to greet her with a swift peck on the cheek before pulling her into the room entirely. "C'mon in."

Ranma sees them together with a sting. He remembers he promised to leave Setsuna alone and he bitterly heads for his room.

A little counter goes off in her head. Bing! Four!

And just as her hand is seized, Sakurazaki finds herself seized by a feeling of panic while Jude pulls her in. "I..."

And then sees Ranma get up and start to leave and in a fit of utter confusion, turning her head slightly back to the door. "R..Ranma? Where are you...going?"

What are you talking about? Him leaving is good! But then it's bad! It means he's mad at you!

Lana smiles at her, "Hey, come on in!"

Sakurazaki gives a shy smile and a little tiny wave to the pretty girl she doesn't know. "Hello."

"I'm Lana and we're just hanging out having a mellow evening. You're more than welcome to join us!"

"Sakurazaki," she nods with a bashful smile as she probably settles on the couch next to Jude. "A mellow evening would be nice right now."
