5th Floor Common Room, Late Monday Morning

After talking to Piper yesterday afternoon, and then the conversation with Lana last night, Phoebe had been more than ready to talk to Cole and see if things went better with him. Then, she had felt him leave the bed and then the attic earlier than usual.

That wasn't good.

With a sigh, she rolled over and stared up at the ceiling for a long time. Something was wrong and they couldn't keep doing this. She got dressed and headed downstairs to the fifth floor common room.

She stretched out on the couch and started flipping through channels.

Surely something had to be on the TV that would distract her.

"Good morning Jude!" she said, "I'm making breakfast would you like some?"

"Sure," Jude grinned. He was a teenage boy. Not one to turn down food in any form. "Sounds great, bra."

"Exellent." Pippi nodded. "What's new with you? Because I don't want to talk about what's new with mebecauseit'sactuallyoldstuffthatIdon'twanttotalkabout."

Jude's eyebrows very, very slowly began to rise. "Uh huh," he said slowly, then shook his head. "Nah, nothin' much is new. Made snickerdoodles today that apparently weren't made of people."

"I didn't know people were usually in the recipe for snickerdoodles."

Jude shrugged. "Neither did I, but Piper-bra was gonna give us detention if we asked."

"I guess we'll never know then!" she grinned.

"Too bad, I was really gettin' curious."

"Well, if you decide that detention is worth it, let me know!"

"Exellent." she said, "What would you like on your pancakes?"

Jude was a traditionalist in some matters.

"Syrup is on the table." she grins as she hands Jude a plate piled high with pancakes.

"Thanks, bra," Jude grinned, taking the plate with wide, appreciative eyes before proceeding to drown them in syrup. He seemed intent on reducing them to the consistency of batter again.
