Dawn was watching classic movie musicals in the common room. If you could call singing along and doing strange and original choreography watching.

Parker came back in after supper, and followed the music upstairs. She leaned on the doorway, watching Dawn dance around for a second, biting her lip before she had to join in.

Walking by the common room, attention focused on a book, Lyta stopped, blinked, and looked up. Her brow furrowed. First Robin Hood now...musicals? She shrugged. Why not?

She edged into the room. "Ah, which musical is this?"

Dawn stopped mid-verse and waved. "My Fair Lady. Hi, I'm Dawn."

Dean hovered in the doorway for a minute watching with a grin, then applauded. "Go you."

"Hey, Lyta." Parker vaguely remembers Lyta as Angela's Little Sister. She hasn't seen her around much more than a moment or two in the library, though.

Lyta waved back somewhat hesitantly, stepping further into the room. The book was closed as she did so. "Which one is that? The one based on Pygmalion?" Mentally, she dragged through the index of films she had seen at a young age, trying to remember her classics.

The singing drew Peter in as he was walking down the hallway.

"Are you going to dance too?" he asked with a grin.

Parker applauded, grinning. "Julie Andrews is worried, somewhere."

She was, but she wasn't going to tell Peter, on the off chance he was bored and didn't have anything better to do. "No?"

"So far as we can tell, this is not Fandom weirdness," Parker said over her shoulder. "Just the usual response to Rodgers & Hammerstein."

"She should be, she's got those nodes," Dawn nodded solemnly, then broke into giggles. "Parker, right?"

"No, really, you've got a nice voice," Dean said, moving over to join her. "And I already knew you got the moves."

"Probably a good idea. It might inspire a dancing craze and then where would we all be?" he replied, laughing.

"Right. Dawn? I saw you around during stuff over the weekend, but I was a little out of it." Parker came into the room and appopriated a corner of the couch, then raised an eyebrow at the movie. "Why couldn't they quit while they were ahead? This is the best part."

"I suppose something has to be," Peter said. "I prefer 'Rule Britannia' myself."

With an empty second floor common room, Elizabeth headed upwards.

"Oh, I've not seen this in years," she exclaimed.

"Alec." Parker raised an eyebrow at him. "You're fine after this weekend, and whatever yesterday was, it looks like."

"Thanks," she said, feeling vaguely ridiculous. "So, still Alec, I see."

Peter nodded at Alec. "Good evening, Alec."

"Yeah. I'm getting kinda used to it actually. Could be worse. I could be all big, red and demony like some people at this school."

Dawn grinned. "Isn't it great?"

"And then it goes to that stupid ending. She tells him off, and it's beautiful, and then she fetches his slippers like he's the family dog?" Dawn glared at the movie.
