The Roof;Late *ahem* Wednesday Afternoon

Damned back. It was driving Sakurazaki crazy again. The painful, distracting, insanity-inducing itching between her shoulders really didn't pick up until after she had practiced in the gym, really gaining a presence when she was putting her questionairres up around the dorms. She knew exactly why they were bothering her so much again, too. Seeing Bel waltzing around in demon form the yesterday made her wings just beg to come out. Forget the impractibility that they were really to big to even allow her to move through the hallways. Forget that she had nearly eleven years of built-up paranoia. They felt that it was highly unfair of her to keep them in when, obviously, here, it wouldn't have mattered.

She had intended to go into town, into the park, where she could work on her art fair project with her back against a tree, scratching the irration away with the bark. But the forecast didn't look good, and she didn't want to be stuck in town in the rain with some very damp posters. Instead, she stalked to the roof.

Did many people come up to the roof during this time of the day? In overcast weather? How well could people see the roof from the ground? These were all very good thoughts to consider, but the itching was just so incredible that Sakurazaki failed to properly focus on any of them. Screw it. It would only get worse as the day went on; she'd better take care of it now.

The pain was getting a little easier to deal with; with about a week since the last time she let her wings out, there was less resistance with her skin. She arches her back, rolling her shoulders and neck gently as they extend, shake, flex and flap slightly as they like to do once they're out.

She goes and sits by the edge of the roof, making sure that the wings stay behind her, just in case anyone down there could see. This way, she could probably easily take off if she heard someone else coming up. But, then again, maybe she really shouldn't care anymore.

Sakurazaki sits and thinks idly, wings flapping gently, while her subconscious tries to convince her to take a flight.

[[zomg, open wing post. XD Flew off. Still open for basic roof needs, strange bird sightings. :)]]
