Anakin? Had time on his hands.

Anakin? Had learned how to make paper starfighters.

This? Was a bad combination.

Sitting on the couch, he controlled seven of the paper missiles through the Force as they flew around the room.

Why yes, he was making little shooting noises as they chased each other. And the crash and burn sound, too.

He just didn't realize he was doing it.

Someone want to point it out?

"Do too," Anakin retorted, pouting.

"Do too," Anakin said, crossing his arms over his chest.

"Do not, do not, do not," she said, crossing her own arms.

Anakin had kind of forgotten what they were arguing over.

"Hmph," he said, staring at his boots.

"It's okay. I'm a gracious winner," she said sweetly.

Anakin looked, if possible, even more petulant.

"And there's always a consolation prize...."

Anakin's eyebrows went up. "Really?"

"Yes," Rory said. "It's only fair."

Anakin's bad mood instantly evaporated. "Excellent," he said. "Are there cookies involved?"

"There could be," she mused.

Anakin didn't say "yay." But the grin on his face was remarkably "yay"-esque.

"When did we knock fifteen years off our ages?" she wondered.

"I don't know," Anakin admitted. "But if you call me Bananakin I'm out of here."

"I'm not Lettuce Head," Rory pointed out.

A shadow passed across Anakin's face. "Thank the Force for that," he muttered.

"Well, she's the one who's obnoxious and calls you that. I'm just your wife who nearly had to have an operation because I fell down trying to race you, but I always managed to call you by your proper name," Rory reminded him.

Anakin bit his lip and blushed, then shot Rory a shy smile. "And don't think I'll ever forget it."

Rory returned the smile, and stretched her legs out in front of her. "I should probably go. I wanted to go check on my mom for a little while."

"Can you tell her I say hi?" Anakin asked, waving the paper starfighters into his hands. "She's almost due, right?"

"Few weeks, so yeah, she's about ready to pop. I never want to be pregnant in the summer. It looks like the most uncomfortable thing ever," Rory sighed. "But sure, I'll tell her you said hi."

Anakin smiled. "I don't have to worry about it," he said. "For me or anyone else, really. Jedi don't have younglings."
