Bel? Still in demon form.

Elizabeth had suggested that it was an emotional reason, not a physical or magical one, that was causing him to be stuck in demon form. Janet's examination seemed to confirm this. Willing to try anything at this point, Bel was on the roof, trying to relax. Trying not to think about how he would be under a death sentence if he ever set foot in the Underworld again. Trying not to think about how he had almost screwed up his relationship with Phoebe by keeping things from her. Or how he was worried that he couldn't control his demon side. Or that people thought he was sleeping with Veronica. Or that Angel was shacked up with Logan.

Stressed, him? Nah.

So. Relax. Bel lit up a cigarette and settled by the garden, trying to clear his head.

Jude shrugged. "Sorry, bro. Was lookin' for a Japanese girl with big wings. Guess I missed her."

Scary Darth Maul demons? Mellow remains unharshed.

"Whoa." Jude blinked. "Bro, you seriously need to get in touch with your mellow. I think it took off for the Bahamas without you."

"Just how do you suggest I do that?" Bel grumbled.

Jude shrugged. "Dunno. Think happy thoughts. I would offer you my skateboard but we have a limited arena and a six-story drop if we mess up." He blinked slowly. "Your mellow is a part of you, bro. You just have to find it."

"Happy thoughts, huh?" Bel muttered. "Like kittens and puppies and rainbows?" He scowled.

It was hard for the eternally mellow to fathom the emo.

Jude perched on the ledge, oversized sneakers balancing against the edge and his elbows resting on his knees.

He shrugged. "Maybe you're tryin' too hard," he suggested. "'Cause all that growling totally takes more work than not."
