Bridge isn't all that tired, so he's out in the common room, idly flipping through channels, looking for anything that isn't a talk show. Or Dekaranger.

"Ah," Bridge says. "He do anything specific? Or was just generally annoying?"

"Ditched me to go have fun on the mainland with no warning." Parker scowled. "Which, okay, I've ditched him before. But I always gave him warning." Mostly.

"Boo," Bridge frowns. "Guys are dumb," he says decisively.

"Can I adopt you?"

Bridge just tilts his head quizzically at Parker. "You're only, like, a year older than me. Or fifteen years, depending on how you look at it. I think that's frowned upon."

"I could get my dad to adopt you. Although, no. You wouldn't like my dad." She's totally kidding now, but then adds, "I appreciate your support. I don't care how hypocritical I'm being. I want to strangle my boyfriend."

"Almost inevitably." Parker glared at the bear cubs. "I just don't like having to be the mature one. That's his job."
