"Go ask Bel, I'm sure he'd be happy to help you," Callisto said, then frowned. "Odd..."

Parker blinked. "Hmm. Not a bad idea, actually. What's odd?"

"Usually when I think of Bel it's with varying degrees of amusement and irritation," Callisto said. "But this time I felt some bizarre sense of comradeship, and the desire to push him off the roof."

"I've been wanting to push him off the roof for months, but he's finally mellowing. Weeeird." Parker paused. "The comradeship, especially. It's not like you two have much in common."

"Odd. And where the heck would there be meeting ground there?" Parker wondered. "Aside from both of you missing him."

"I'm also getting a feeling of shared irritation in addistion to the regular kind."

Parker frowned. "Do you think you guys bonded, maybe, but don't remember it? Over pizza or something? Xander and I are both feeling embarassed over stuff we don't remember in the last day or so. Maybe you went out for coffee with him."

"No, I don't think so," Callisto shook her head. "Although that might be what the feeling of overwhelming dread is about."
