Fourth Floor Common Room, Wednesday Night.
Sakurazaki was actually pretty surprised that her flight didn't end up being rained out, and she returned to the dorms and stalked upstairs feeling rather tired, but extremely good. Really, the only thing that had kept this day from being perfect was the lack of Jude. But before she could be too excited, she still had to make a very important phone call:
//"Hello, Elder?"//
//"Setsuna-kun! How are you? Everything okay?"//
//"Y..yes, Elder, everything is fine--"//
//"What time is it over there?"//
//That doesn't matter. Elder, I have a very sincere and important request to make to you. I would like you to send Yuunagi over here to Fandom for me. A fellow student and I have gotten together and convinced the Principal to allow us to do live steel training. My training has suffered greatly without my sword, Elder, it truly has. And now that the option is open, I'd like to have it back, please."//
There was a long, dreadful pause. //"Setsuna-kun, you know how Konoka feels about that..."//
//"I know, Elder, I do. But it's just...at this point, her concerns are very ill founded. I've been doing really well here, and have adapted well without a sword. I've passed my test, now I deserve my reward. I've just founded a club, I've been doing well in all my classes and I've made a lot of friends here. I've even gone on a date, Elder...What? Why are you laughing? Elder!"//
//"I'm sorry, Setsuna-kun. You? A date?"//
Sakurazaki glowers at the floor, waiting for him to stop laughing. She glowers for a while, then finally asks. //"Are you done, yet?"//
//"Probably not."//
She grunts. //"Anyway, what do you think? Can I have my sword sent to me?"//
//"I suppose I really don't see a problem, especially if it means you can continue your training."//
That almost made up for him laughing at her. //"Thank you so much, Elder!"//
//"You're quite welcome, Setsuna-kun."//
//"Elder?"//
//"Yes?"//
//"Do you think you can send it to me, um, magically? So it gets here sooner?"//
//"Now, Setsuna-kun, you know that we have to watch ourselves in the abuse of magic..."//
//"Oh, please, Elder, that's like saying that we should never send e-mails because it's an abuse of technology."//
There was a deep chuckle. //"Ah, Setsuna-kun, you always did have a good head for logic on your shoulders. I'll see what I can do."//
//"Thank you, Elder! Thank you so much!"//
She couldn't help herself. There was a squee. A very significant one at that. She's glad that she's alone at the moment.
But now it was time for the next important thing. She was famished again, as per usual post-flight. She bounces over to the kitchenette and makes herself a very big bowl of rice.
She then settles on the couch, leaning forward rather than curling into a corner like she's like. Back was too sore. But she finds a poorly dubbed Tamazilla movie on television. Perfect.
