Fourth Floor Common Room - Friday evening

After the week he'd had, Dean decided he didn't want to do anything that Friday night, but veg out in front of the tv and not think too hard about anything.

Hence, here he was, camped out in the fourth floor common room, flipping channels and looking for the most brainless show he could find.

"Hey, Isabel," Dean greeted her. "Pull up a couch."

"Hey Dean," Isabel said as she did just that. "Happy to be back to normal?"

"You have no idea," Dean said. "Happy barely begins to cover it."

Isabel laughed. "I haven't done the body swap or animal transfiguration. I'll have to take your word for it."

"I'd avoid it if you can," Dean advised her.

"I'll do my best," she promised. "I've been dealing with Jack all week. I still don't know how he managed it, but he's been a fox since Sunday."

"Huh," Dean said. "Suppose I should be grateful I got switched with someone that can talk."

"We've been working with one for no and two for yes," Isabel explained. "It helps with the basics, but yeah, no deep conversations this week."

"Is he aware? That he's not really a fox?" Dean asked curiously.

"Totally aware. Ironically enough? Jack is very much like a fox apparently," she laughed. "He's off with your roommate at the moment."

"Ah," Dean said in enlightenment. "I wondered why I hadn't seen much of Cedric this week. But was just a little preoccupied to track him down to find out."

"I think he's been staying down in Jack's room so you wouldn't have to deal with a hyper fox," Isabel replied. "He's been pretty bouncy. He would have driven you nuts."

"Thoughtful of him. I've been trapped in a motel room for days with a hyper Sammy. That's bad enogh."

Isabel giggled. "At least with Jack, if all else fails, you can pet him and it calms him down a bit. I don't think your brother would appreciate it."

"When he was little I used to have to rub his back to get him to go to sleep," Dean confided. "Been a few years since I've done that though."

"That's sweet," Isabel smiled. "But yes, I can see where it's not something you'd do as teenagers."

"Not with your brother at least."

"As someone that has a brother that's very close in age, I agree. Big no."

"Maybe I should pass on that info to Buffy though," Dean said thoughtfully.

"She might appreciate that," Isabel nodded. "In fact I know she will. You should do that. Definitely."
