Sunday morning crepes. Just like Granpere used to make. And presumably still did make.

Walter didn't need to follow the smell, he'd been clued in that Pip would be cooking. He appeared in a timely fashion to make sure he got in on the cooking.

River had appeared in the kitchen with two empty ice cream bowls. The smell of crepes was lovely and made her stomach rumble.

"Guten morgen. Care to give me a hand with this?"

Pip waved to River. "Something to eat?" he asked.

Distractions were good.

"Alright. What sort of help do you need?" He went over to have a look at Pip's handiwork. "You generally seem to have this under control."

"Good morning, River."

"Hmmmm." Pippi said poking her head out from behind Pip and peeking at the delicious foodstuffs.

"Creepies!"

Had he heard her sneak up? Maybe, maybe not.

"Well, if you know how to make crepes, we can get them to people all the faster," Pip said. "Failing that, scoop in the filling."

He had. He has good hearing. It's part of the whole "If you go blind your other sense get better" thing. Only he's only lost an eye, so it's not like he's Daredevil or anything.

"Yes. Creepies. And please don't sneak up on someone holding a frying pan with very hot batter in it."

Walter tsked and sat down to watch Pip cooking. "I'll help you if you look like you need it. Which you don't at the moment."

"Good morning, Pippi." No, Walter still wasn't actually helping Pip with the crepes, but it could happen at some point, he supposed.

"Fair enough," Pip said. "So far there's a low turnout."

"I'm sorry." she said in a small voice.

"Good morning Walter." she said. "What's new?"

Yesterday, Seras had told Pip that she would show up for crepes.

And, so...she showed up for crepes.

Walter was just pouring the boiling water out of the kettle and into a teapot.

"Good morning."

Walter put some water on to boil and had retrieved his teapot from his room. "I suppose that depends upon how you define it. How was the party last night?"

"Yes please," River said, a wide grin spreading on her face as she watched the pancake.

"Morning!" River waved.

River tickled Pippi.

Seras smiled to see the tea boiling.

"What's brewing today?"

"It was loud and crowded and on the second floor." she grinned. "But I made plans with English Peter for a party on the 20th for the England/Sweden game. And we made a bet!"

Pippi started giggling right away.

"Hey! Stop that! You wouldn't believe how ticklish I am!"

She moved away from Pip and the stove so as not to knock either over. If River follows Pippi will attempt a counter attack.
