The Roof//Later Sunday Morning
After a breakfast of tea and yummy crepes, Seras made her way up to the roof to wait for Walter.
It was a warm day, but it was cooler up high and there was a breeze blowing.
Just walk to the edge and jump off...
Seras peered over at the ground below.
Sure. It sounded simple, in theory.

"Yeah."
She agreed partly because it really had looked fun, and partly because she doubted she'd ever live it down if she refused.
"So...Just jump off?"

Even so, Seras didn't know if she could jump while looking down. So, she stepped up onto the ledge then turned around to that she was facing Walter and Pippi.
"Geronimo," she said with a quick salute, dropping herself backwards off the roof.

Same gleeful whoop, however.

"Show off!" she yelled up at him, as she saw him falling nearer and nearer. She barely felt his wires as they caught and released her.

By the time they made it to ground level, both were ready to land lightly in the grass next to the building.
Walter whipped the wires back into his rings and stuck his tongue out at her. "Now that was showing off."
