Peter had his St. George's cross flag close by as he waited impatiently for the match to begin.  England vs. Ecuador with continued participation in the World Cup at stake.

He had run down to J, GOB ostensibly to get some pastries to share for breakfast but really because he couldn't sit still any longer so there was a selection of muffins and doughnuts on one of the tables.

Now for the football to start...

"It was late," Conner said. "I don't remember exactly when, but pretty late last night.

"Was this before or after she took off her shirt?" Walter asked, trying to get a timeline of just how many people had seen his girlfriend running topless through the dorm.

Conner made a sound that very closely resembled "meep."

"Well, she was waving it around over her head."

"Ah." Walter shook his head and laughed ruefully. "This is what comes of dating an Argentine, it seems."

"Look on the bright side," Conner told him. "This only happens every four years."

"On the other hand, she was very enthusiastic last night, and I'm the only chap here who woke up with her in his bed this morning." He let that hang for just a second before shaking his head. "Not dirty. I have a roommate."
