2nd Floor Common Room [Late Monday Night]

Bridge couldn't sleep. So he was curled up on the couch in the common room, watching Galaxy Quest reruns.

Anyone who was still awake was welcome to stop by, of course.

Callisto was very awake.

She wandered into the common room. "Hey."

"Hey, Cal," Bridge says. "What's up?"

"Classes. Smart alec students. Emotional revelations you didn't particulary want to have," Callisto said. "Y'know, the usual. Yourself?"

"Can't sleep. There's something creepy in the air."

Callisto tensed up slightly at this. "Mummy creepy, or different creepy?"

"I'm not sure yet," Bridge admits. "But I don't like it."

"That's not good," Callisto said, rubbing her arms. "Maybe we should find out if Rory's been reading anymore books lately."

Bridge tilts his head. "Isn't Rory, like, off visiting her grandparents or something? I'm not sure that kind of stuff works long-distance."

"Don't know," Callisto shrugged. "Though Angel said he'd been having dreams that reminded him of the mummy stuff lately."

Alec was, of course, out and about. And the sound of tv was definitely a draw when boredom was high. He found a seat and dropped into it, looking over at the other common room inhabitants to wave in greeting. "Hey."

"Hey, Alec." Bridge waves. "I'm... not actually sure what's going on," he admits, nodding at the TV, "but it's entertaining, in a cheesy old-scifi-show kinda way."

"It's tv," Alec said, grinning. "Doesn't always have to make sense, just be eye-catching and distracting for a while." He nodded at the tv, glancing at Bridge curiously. "Your future look anything like this?"

"In some ways," Bridge admits. "Though we're not so much with the exploring the galaxies part."

"You said you were from, what, something like a decade from now?" He was half-watching the tv, but still paying most of his attention to Bridge, shooting him another curious look as the show passed into commercial time.

"Fifteen years, yeah. I was born about a year and a half ago, actually."

"I was born about 7 years ago," he said, frowning a little. "I hadn't really thought about that before, but I guess that's kind of strange, in a way."

"Yeah. Somewhere out there," and he waves a hand vaguely, "there's little us-es."

Alec frowned, glancing across the room - westward, towards his past self. "Changing the past is probably a bad idea, right?" He asked quietly, running through the possibilities in his mind.

Callisto waved back. "Alec."

"Callisto," Alec said, smirking. "Do I need to wear underwear again this week?"

"Now if I told you, that would take the surprise out of things."

"True, I guess." He snickered. "You ever get your problem sorted out?"

Callisto narrowed her eyes. "Which problem would that be?"

"Whichever one made you want to kick the crap out of me for being male?" Alec grinned. "Or is that just an on-going thing?"
