Parker's in the common room, channel-surfing mindlessly. She wants a cigarette. She wants a drink. She wants more shoes. She's in a weird, weird mood. What she doesn't want, is to go to Blue Cove.

Since she has no choice about that, she's looking for Z-Cases re-runs.

"I'd've been happier with a shorter weekend that included one less Xander," he said, rolling his eyes, "but other than that, good. At least til this afternoon."

"Why?" Callisto asked. "What happened this afternoon?"

"Lana freaked out in my workshop, and it turns out something invisible's haunting her. Or following her around, anyway."

"Oh, great," Callisto rubbed her forehead. "More mummies?"

Xander blinked. "I don't think so? 'Cause it's got Bridge pretty weirded out. The mummy stuff didn't throw him this much."

"Oh, goody," Callisto sounded very enthused. "So should we be getting ready to kill things now or later?"

Xander furrowed his eyebrows. "If they're really ghosts, I'm not sure there is anything to kill."

Callisto rubbed her arms. "There's always a way to kill something."

"Ghosts are already dead," Xander pointed out. "But there's usually a way to get them to leave, at least. ...hopefully."
