Parker's in the common room, channel-surfing mindlessly. She wants a cigarette. She wants a drink. She wants more shoes. She's in a weird, weird mood. What she doesn't want, is to go to Blue Cove.

Since she has no choice about that, she's looking for Z-Cases re-runs.

"That's what Isabel said." Xander grinned. "And I guess? Hope so, anyway."

"Yeah." Parker looked exquisitely glum for one moment, then shrugged, turning philosophical with an effort. "Power games. Survival retreat. I'm going to see if Daddy will get me a Vespa, if I do well. And I want to either take your class, or just wander by and watch. I keep hearing fun things about it."

Xander laughed. "Willow's got the wander-by-and-watch thing going on, so it's not like there's not precedent, but you're welcome to take it."

She grinned back at him. "Cool. I got enough 'does not play well with others' on my report cards, I should probably take it just to see where I could've gone right."
