Fifth floor common room, Thursday evening

Nadia was sitting upside down on the couch, watching some weird show called Paul in the Past.

The main character looked remarkably familiar, but she couldn't quite place him.

Which was distracting her nicely from pondering ghosts and mutants and why she still hadn't had a useful dream or anything to help out.

Gwynn nodded, relieved that Tim had explained what was going on.

"They are the ones we want to win... correct?"

Nadia nodded. "I'm from Argentina. I mean, you can root for Germany, if you really want to. . . . But pretty much everyone will be rooting for Argentina, I think."

Gwynn shook her head. "I think I prefer Argentina. It has a prettier name."

Nadia liked that answer. "It does, doesn't it. And it's flag is much nicer, too."

She wondered if she could get Gwynn to root for Argentina if they ever played England?

Gwynn nodded. "It really does. I don't think I've seen their flag."

"I was wearing it when I ran around the dorms screaming."

"Oh! That was their flag? I liked that."

Nadia nodded happily. "The sun means we're happy, warm people."

"Well, yeah, you are." Gwynn nodded. "So, this game... is it dangerous for the people?"

"Not really, it's just fun. Sometimes the players get injured, or the fans get a little wild, but it's no worse than other sports, really,"

Gwynn laughed softly. "I don't know much about other sports, but this game sounds like it will be fun to watch."
