Sure, Anakin had brought back a bunch of Force toys back with him from Coruscant. He'd even taken them outside of the cabin to play around with work with.

But instead he was tossing croissants through the air, watching them fall and frowning.

No reason why. Really.

"Problems with the administration," Willow said. She showed Rory the schedule of events (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhigh_ooc/327276.html) she'd been carrying around with her.

Rory glanced at it. "What's wrong with what they have?"

"I'm Jewish," Willow said, by way of explanation.

Rory looked at the list again. "Ohhhhhhhh. Well, maybe it could be Non-Denominational Fun Day of Snowiness in July instead?"

"Possibly," Willow agreed. "A few of the other students and I are going to try to talk to the administration to see if we can have something that's not so single-minded. Room for everybody, you know?"

"Bridgey's Jewish, too," Rory told her. "I don't know about anyone else. But if you get a petition or something, I'll sign it."

Willow smiled. "Thanks, Rory! And yeah, Bridge and I already talked when neither one of us was sitting in on Xander's class. Because you know we don't crash classes that we're not enrolled in."

"That would be Wrong," said the girl who had crashed a class at Harvard when she was fifteen. "I certainly wouldn't dream of sitting in on a class that was not my own."

"Neither would I," Willow replied. "It would be rude and disrespectful, I'm sure."

"Very," Rory said solemnly. "Do you think taking someone baked goods after they're finished with the teaching part and not actually participating in the class itself counts, though?"

"I feel it can't hurt to err on the side of caution," Willow said. "That's why I only signed up for three classes. That way at least I can't be accused of overbooking on the sly."

"Which three?" Rory asked curiously.

"Computers, Constant Vigilance, and Retail 101 which isn't nearly about witchcraft as much as you'd think," Willow said.

"Why would retail be about witchcraft?" Rory asked slowly.

"The blurb about it said it would help you avoid being set on fire for being a witch," Willow said. "I kinda got my hopes up."

"Do people still do that? Set witches on fire?" Rory asked.

"Sadly yes," Willow said. "Granted demons involvement doesn't hurt."

"So it's not like a whole 'Salem Witch Trials, burning at the stake' deal?" she ensured. "It's a 'ew, demons are bad' thing?"

"Oh no," Willow said. "It was totally like a Salem witch trial thing. It was just started by a demon."

"Why? I mean, aren't there more efficient ways to try to off someone?" Rory wondered. "I don't get stuff like burning people at the stake. It's so ceremonial and it totally ensures that they're going to be rescued or figure a way out of it."

"Tradition?" Willow guessed. "Plus the smoke and the heat's not a whole heck of a lot of fun. Um. I've heard."

"But still, it'd be so much simpler to go a different route," Rory said, shaking her head. "I don't understand bad guys."

"Probably why we're good guys," Willow pointed out.
