nadiathesaint: (when I awoke)

Squirrel Campfire area, Friday afternoon

Nadia lay stretched out on the grass, watching the sky for breaks in the clouds so she could pretend they made shapes.

On the one hand, Constant Vigilance seemed like it would be a good class, and she was pretty sure that the Doctor might be the coolest teacher since Mac left. She idly wondered if she could call the Doctor "Doc". Also, she was now done with workshops for the week, which meant a weekend to look forward to.

On the other hand, she apparently had detention tomorrow. Possibly for chalking things, but she suspected it was one of those "punish for no reason!" things this school liked to do sometimes.

She also kind of felt like she should have a long stalk of seeding grass sticking out of her mouth, and possibly a banjo, though she wasn't entirely certain why.

[ooc: open. I've just been told to bum around until they get a document they can trust me to format my first week, so please to be entertaining me?]

"I only talked to him in Wilderness Survival. I've just seen people banged up before," Tyler said, fingers on the lip-print scar on one hand. "Are you making him take it easy?"

"Good luck," Tyler said with a shrug. "At least it's been a quiet week. No Jello dragons to slay."

Tyler laughed.

Then he realized Nadia was probably serious, and reached out to tap his fist against the cabin. "Knock on wood, everything will stay fine until he's healed up. And then longer than that"
