Puffin Campfire; Saturday Morning [ha]
Sakurazaki settles under a tree as usual to intiate her meditations, just out of her shower, with her hair still a little damp and hanging around her shoulders.
She really probably should have noticed that it was usually easy to find the quiet to reach her centre today. But, for the most part, she just finds it really, really nice. Peaceful....

It was pretty hard not to not notice Sakurazaki sitting at the campfire, so as he walked by he stopped to say "Good morning."
Or at least tried to. He tried again, and no voice still came out. He grabbed at his neck with 'WTF' drawn on his face very clearly.

She wasn't surprised to see Alphonse instead, really. But she was surprised to see him holding his neck. She's on her feet in seconds.
"Alphonse!" she goes to say. "Are you okay?" But, of course, she hears nothing. She stops on her tracks to him, eyes shifting confused. She just talk without actually making any sound? Her eyes shift to the other way...
"Umm....testing. Testing, one two three."
Nothing. She gives a silent "Oh my God!" and turns wide, questioning eyes toward Alphonse. This was no loss of voice due to a sore throat. She could have at least made sounds if that were the case. This was clearly something deeper.

Although it appeared Alphonse was just as confused as she was. She makes a 'calm-down' gesture with her hand, pushing them down slightly in the air. "We have to try to consider this from with reason and logic. Why would our voices be suddenly gone?" She's so into approaching it with reason and logic that she sort of forgets that, yeah, none of that was heard.

And was suddenly really, really confused, with a slight feeling that it might have something more to do with them just suddenly not being able to talk.

Good to lay out the basics first right?

No. Pheebs and Bel too. He waved around at the camp, putting a hand to his ear. Not the sound of a voice to be heard.

Onlee logical explanaton. Wil probablee pass? Prolly nuthing to be to worryed about. She drew a smily face after it. Out of all the things that could happen, losing one's voice wasn't very bad at all. In fact, she was feeling a little glad for it. Silence was golden.

All of this, of course, was expressed entirely by pointing in various directions.

Spotting people at the campfire, he waved and tried to say hello. When that failed, he tried again. When it became clear that nothing was coming out of his mouth, he flailed a bit.

Then he tried to convey "you too?" by pointing at his mouth and then Al's repeatedly. If it came across as an invitation to eat, Stark would deny all responsibility.
((with real grammar this time!))

So, while he was attempting to say "what's going on?", he was really just flailing uselessly.

He tried to say that. Only with more flailing.

But he nodded anyway. And put his hands behind his back to cut down on future flailings.

And leaves it at that. Because it's not like she can make polite conversation or anything.
