Gym, Saturday night

Even silent, Tyler seemed especially confident as he waited for people to show up in the gym. He was barefoot, and clad in a tank top and sweats.

As people came in, he handed them sheets of paper with "Fight Club Rules" scrawled at the top.

1. What happens here, stays here.
2. PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR PARTNER. Match is over when someone signs "stop."
3. Only two to a fight.
4. One fight at a time.
5. No shoes. Padding only if you need it.
6. Fights go on as long as they have to. Someone's bleeding too much or knocked out? Fight's over.
7. Play nice, boys and girls.


[OOC: Here's how this will work. "Listen" to Tyler and mingle in the top thread. When you've paired off, start a new thread for that match. Handwave the "one fight at a time" thing. And please try not to send each other to the infirmary -- they'll be busy enough. Thanks.]

Ivanova arrived after settling Maia in her room, with threats to stay in one place, not leave without her, stay away from the windows, keep this large bat at hand, yadda yadda, and now curious about this Fight Club thing.

And, because she was a sharp one, with a magic marker and a slim notepad in her back pocket.

Bel's full of pent up anger and frustration, so Fight Club seemed like a good idea. Anyone taking him on might get hurt.

So Fight Club was right up his alley tonight.

He'd brought his wipeboard and pen with him and scrawled Hey on it when he came into the room.

Tyler scrawled "HEY!" on his own board, and then pointed from Anakin to Bel, indicating they should match up.

After leaving the computer lab Pippi flounced down to the gym.

Alphonse came in, very much in the mood to throw some swings. After all, he hadn't had a good sparring match in a while.

Pippi and Alphonse came in, and Tyler gestured to both of them and then to himself, then raised his eyebrows, indicating Ivanova should pick someone.

Ivanova nodded her thanks and then spread her hands, indicating that she had no preference. She was sizing them both up and, despite the fact that she was their friend, she really had no idea what they were capable of. In this respect, anyways.

Anakin had left his robe in a puddle on the floor on top of his boots and was now standing on one side of the mat, waiting for Bel with a slight smile curving his lips.

This would be fun.

Bel stretched and rolled his neck, then stepped on the opposite side of the mat. He smiled at Anakin, but it wasn't a friendly smile.

He raised his eyebrows, clearly asking if Pippi was comfortable fighting the older girl.
