Seahorse Cabin [Thursday Evening]

Having decided remaining inside his alcove was just entirely too boring, Cedric's ventured out into the main area.

The soreness is still there but not as strong and it looks to be just a bad memory soon.

And, just for fun, he doodles on Jaye's sign. Just a random stick figure but a doodle nonetheless.

Isabel knocked on the door of the Seahorse cabin.

"Come in," Cedric calls, moving away from Jaye's sign as quickly as able in case that was her coming in the door. Of course, the knock should indicate that it's not Jaye but Cedric doesn't think to think about that.

"Just the person I was looking for," Isabel said as she came in. "How are you feeling?"

He smiles when he realizes who it is before taking a careful seat in the living area.

"Better, thank you. Just a nuisance with that occaisonal annoyance of pain. And yourself? How are you?"

"I'm fine. I had a pretty mellow day. I did go for a walk though," she smiled proudly.

"It was a nice day out," Cedric says, gazing towards the door. "I wouldn't know, of course, because I seem to be sleeping constantly."

He doesn't pick up on anything different about her smile yet. "Good walk, then?"

"Are you taking any pain killers? Because aren't they supposed to knock you out?" Isabel asked. "But still I guess it's better then being in pain."

"A very good walk. I found something."

"Yes, the painkillers I was given do wonders in the sleep aide department," Cedric tells her. "I've slept entirely too much. You found...you did?!"

And now he's slightly excited.

"I think so," she said, pulling what she thought was his wand out of her back pocket. "Is this it?"

"Yes," he exclaims and pushes off the seat. "I never thought I'd be so happy to see a thin piece of wood in my life. Thank you."

And, before taking the wand, he reaches out to give her a hug.

Isabel happily returned the hug, glad she was able to help. "Don't worry about it. I'm glad I was able to help."

"I'd had promises of finding a new one but that would've been an incredibly difficult task outside of Diagon Alley," Cedric says, excitement tinging his voice.

"It doesn't seem like something that would be sold at All and Sundries," Isabel nodded. "Diagon Alley sounds incredibly interesting. Some of the people here visited it over Spring Break."

"Cedric?" Sam asked, coming out of her alcove, "How are you feeling? Do you need anything? Should you be up and around?"

Huh. Turned out Jack's concern was contagious.

Dean came out of his alcove into the living room. "Hey, look who's up and around. Feeling better?"

"There was a trip to Diagon Alley?"

"I'm fine. Not right now, and maybe not but I am anyway," he says, smiling at her. "Good evening, Sam."

"Yes, thank you," he replies, smiling. "And yourself? Enjoying cabin life again?"

"Over Spring Break," she explained. "A bunch of people went to England. They wound up stopping by Diagon Alley searching for stuff to help cure our resident vampire. He'd been poisoned by a mystical poison."

"Hi," Sam said, sitting down. "So, I hear we're going rafting?"

"Pretty much." He grinned. "The Seahorse way of life is hard not to enjoy."

"That's...unexpected," Cedric says after a moment. "I was unaware muggles...non magic people could get into Diagon Alley."

"I've heard as well," Cedric says, scratching his head. "Will this be awkward, do you think?"

"And yet, I'm disappointed in Jaye for not organizing another party yet," Cedric says. "She must not want shirtlessness anymore. And, if that's true, I fear."

Isabel shrugged, "It was a Fandom trip. Considering everything else that's supposed to be impossible that actually happens at this school? I'm not surprised they were able to get there."
