Cally was plopped down on a couch, idly flicking through the channels. She was really just killing time, procrastinating. She needed to move more of her stuff, but wasn't really wanting to do that, quite yet.

"Never heard of it," Z admitted. "Is it Triforian or something?"

"Colonial," Anders explained. "Um, the Twelve Colonies of Kobol, that is. I've never heard of Triforia."

"And I've never heard of Kobol, so I guess we're even."

"I've given up on trying to compare planets with people around here," Anders said, chuckling. "I just get a headache trying to figure out what's where, and for all I know Triforia could be in the exact same place as Caprica is, just in another dimension."

"Do people split in three on Caprica?" Z asked.

"Well, no . . ."

"So there's not like an Anders of Heart?"

"As opposed to an Anders of Soul?"

At the moment there was definitely an Anders of Bzuh?

"No, that's just silly. The Triforians have three, like, aspects. Heart, Wisdom, and Courage."

"And that's just weird," Anders told her.

"Little bit," Z said. "Don't tell anyone I said that," she added quickly. "I don't want them to think I'm unenlightened or whatever."

"Tell who what now?" asked Anders, winking.

Z grinned. "What were we talking about, again?"

"You know, funny enough, I don't remember."

Anders wasn't very good at feigning innnocence, but dammit, he was trying.

"We'll have to talk about something else, then. Have you ever seen this show?" Z asked, indicating Mighty Capin' Justice Magicians on the TV.

"Is this anything like Abaranger?" asked Anders curiously. "Only with a lot less fashion sense? And really goofy boxing gloves?"

"Yeah, sorta. Except with more magic. And capes. As indicated by the title."

"Who knew?" Anders grinned. "Do they seriously expect us to buy that their headquarters is in a giant dragon-shaped tree with computers inside?"

"Actually, if I'm remembering my Ranger history correctly? They got that part right."

Anders gaped at the TV for a moment. "I should really know better than to rule these things out as a possibility by now."

Z shrugged. "The law enforcement agency I work for has their headquarters in a giant mobile building shaped like a dog."

"You guys come from a very weird reality," Anders said.

"Yeah, but to us it's home," Z said with a grin.

"And home is always good," Anders agreed, still wondering if Conner was coming back. "Weird can be pretty awesome, anyway."
