2nd Floor Common Room: Evening

Jamie has taken over the second floor common room. He is wearing his crown from Dada class proudly and most importantly has control over the remote for the TV.

The show he is watching is Dirty Jobs. Which isn't porn or dirty. Well it's dirty... just not "OMGDIRTY!"

Any one who tries to change the channel is most likely to be smited by the Dada King.

You've been warned.

[OOC: Open. Duh.]

"Aww. They're adorable," Peter said. "But I don't actually see the Churchill thing, personally."

"All babies look like Winston Churchill," Zero said somberly. "See, that's Bru in the black cap, and BB in, um, the other black cap. But Bru's has a bow."

"Bruce got a nickname?" Peter asked. "Bru. Okay, that sounds like a Hopeless-Savage name."

"Was Winston Churchill this adorable?"

"Henry says she looks like a Bru. I'm sure he was when he was a baby."

[identity profile] peter--parker.livejournal.com 2006-07-26 04:40 am (UTC)(link)
"She does look like a Bru," Peter said, not entirely sure what a Bru looked like. But she certainly did look like one. "What if he's just a good looking baby as an adult, but he was an ugly baby as a baby?"

"Doesn't she, though?" Zero tilted her head thoughtfully. "Never thought about it like that...I need to see some baby pictures of Winston Churchill. Then we'll know.

[identity profile] peter--parker.livejournal.com 2006-07-26 04:47 am (UTC)(link)
"Do you think there could be baby pictures of Winston Churchill in a book in the librar somewhere?" Peter asked.

[personal profile] swerval_zero 2006-07-26 04:49 am (UTC)(link)
"Dunno. Might be. Too bad I can't just ask the library any more."

[identity profile] peter--parker.livejournal.com 2006-07-26 04:58 am (UTC)(link)
"Are you sure that's actually a bad thing, all things considered?" Peter asked.

"No, no, in the big picture it's definitely a good thing. No more chasing people with a mallet, for one thing."

[identity profile] peter--parker.livejournal.com 2006-07-26 05:02 am (UTC)(link)
"I never did get to see that," Peter said, slightly disappointed.

"I'm not sayin' it won't happen again," Zero admitted. "I just won't be possessed by books."

She thought about Fandom High, and added, "Probably."

"If anything ever possesses you, I'll do everything I can to help you get back to normal," Peter said. "Which would probably involve calling someone who knows how to exorcise stuff, because I don't know that."
swerval_zero: (Default)

[personal profile] swerval_zero 2006-07-26 05:15 am (UTC)(link)
"That's probably a good idea," Zero agreed. "Amateur exorcism might just make it worse."

[identity profile] peter--parker.livejournal.com 2006-07-26 05:20 am (UTC)(link)
"I've learned that magic is just one of those things that I should just defer to others on whenever possible," Peter said. "And it takes a lot for me to actually admit that."

"It's important to know when to ask for help," Zero agreed. "Otherwise you wind up runnin' around Hong Kong barefoot."

[identity profile] peter--parker.livejournal.com 2006-07-26 05:29 am (UTC)(link)
"I've run around Chinatown with an injured hand before," Peter said. "Which has nothing to do with the point, but it's close enough to be a bonding experience, I think."

"You could try it on Arsenal," Zero suggested.

"Maybe then she'll be less hostile towards me?" Peter wondered.

"Maybe. You could also compliment the twins," Zero suggested.

[identity profile] peter--parker.livejournal.com 2006-07-26 05:52 am (UTC)(link)
"I think that's a good first step. Thank you," Peter said.

"Any time," Zero told him.
