Monday Night, Third Floor Hallway

After a less than satisfactory answer from Cole, Phoebe had forced herself to walk away from the third floor common room. She made herself keep facing forward and not look back. She was angry and she was hurt and she couldn't believe he was still hiding things from her and pushing her away.

She had no plans to go to their room right now as she was afraid they would fight and nothing would get resolved... still. She wasn't about to go to any other common rooms right now.

Outside. She could go for a walk outside... at 10:45 at night.

Phoebe stopped and then turned to look at Lana, tears shining in her eyes. "I'm sorry," she whispered.

"Don't be sorry," Lana said. "This has been coming for a long time. I'm just sorry that talking about how happy I am kind of brought things to a head."

Phoebe shook her head. "It almost happened in California, but then I got drunk and passed out with Veronica and Logan." She swallowed. "I cannot believe that after everything that has happened he won't be honest with me."

Phoebe looked a little lost.

Phoebe lay her head against her friend.

"Still want to have that sleepover?" She sniffled. "Then maybe tomorrow afternoon we can go to the Point?"

"Of course," Lana said. "You can definitely stay with me. And all I have tomorrow is First Aid and then I'm free. Going out to the Point sounds great."

She smiled a little ruefully. "Something about the ocean, you know?"
