Main dorms stairwell - Early Thursday morning
Molly was too excited to sleep. She'd woken up extra early so that she could play look out for anyone who wanted to place Slinkys in the stairwell. She stuck her head over the rail and looked for anyone on the stairs. Tilting her head, she also listened for quiet footsteps.
"Okay, I think we're good to go," she whispered as she turned back to the stairwell door.

strongestgirl. 5th floor people can come set up their Slinkys.]]
"Okay, I think we're good to go," she whispered as she turned back to the stairwell door.
| Pippi walks softly up with the last J,GOB box of Slinkys and kneels to start placing them on the top of the stairs. The box is half full. Because Pippi is a "Pastry box of Slinkys Half Full" kinda gal. "I put some up on the top of the steps to the roof as well." she whispered. "Just to be sure." Yes, she's wearing gloves... She watches those shows on TV. | |
| "Cool," Molly whispered back. "We shouldn't have to worry about Hamlet, but we're going to have to be more careful on the lower floors. I hope we can all get them in place without anyone noticing." She ducked her head back out into the hallway to see if anyone else was coming to setup Slinkys yet. | |
| "Ya think there may be some already set up yet?" | |
| "Hopefully," Molly said. "I hope everyone gets them set up before I activate them. I'd hate for some of them Slinkys to be trapped in a box trying to get out." | |
| Pippi is trying not to giggle at the thought of that because it's totally not funny. Poor little Slinkys. | |
| Molly went to look over the railing again. "Still clear. You just about done?" | |
| Pippi stood up and folded up the empty box, which she tossed into the garbage as she leaned back through the door to the common room. She stood up and pulled the gloves off. "All set..." she grinned. | |
| "Cool." Molly grinned back. "I'm going to hang around here so I can play lookout for anyone else. Maybe I'll go up and down the stairs to see if I see if anyone else has set theirs up yet." | |
| "Righty oh!" Pippi said giving the thumbs up. "I'll hang up here and keep an eye out." |

The great Slinky release of '06
Re: The great Slinky release of '06
With a silent wave, she pointed down and put up three fingers to indicate she was going to set up her slinkies on the third floor.

Look at those little springs go!
"FIFTH FLOOR RULES!!" she yelled as loud as she could.
Waiting for the echo to die, she turned to look at the Slinkys at the top of the stairs nearby. They gave a little hop accompanied by the distinctive sound of a Slinky. Slowly the same sound could be heard coming from above and below.
Molly continued to watch the Slinkys. After another little hop, they slowly tipped themselves over the stairs and started their descent. The slinkity sound in the stairwell increased as the other toys also started their journey.
Molly grinned. "And now, the fleeing," she said and did just that.
