Kaylee waved at Alphonse. "Hi! Haven't talked to you in awhile. How've you been?"

"Hey Kaylee!" Alphonse waved back. "It has been a while, huh? I've been doing good, even with this Fandom strangeness going around."

"Me too," Kaylee added. "Though this is a new kind of weirdness, huh? Anyway, how's Cuddles?"

"Well, I don't think it's the first time something like this has happened," Alphonse said. "But usually it was with a few people." He shrugged. "Doesn't make it any less odd when it does happen though. Cuddles, on the otherhand, is still a perfectly normal cat, thank goodness. He's still bouncy but I think the weather's been keeping him quiet lately."

"Guess cause it's been real hot lately?" Kaylee asked, trying to ignore the weirdness for now.

"I can't blame him, this heat has been unbearable," Alphonse complained. "It's been keeping both of us indoors, at least... more so than usual."

"Yeah, I haven't been out as much either because of it," Kaylee added.

"I can't imagine what would make this place so hot, but I guess every place is different," Alphonse made a dismissive gesture with a hand. "What about you, what have you been up to lately?"

"Not too much. Been goin' to workshops. Oh! I went to that carnival last night."

"Oh, the carnival; I didn't go to that yesterday because my mun is lazy. What went on over there?"
