Bridge was sprawled on the couch, flipping through channels absently until he settles on one broadcasting a concert: Kira Ford, Live From New York.

"Cole broke the spell that turned me into a mermaid," Phoebe said, "and we talked to Piper earlier and she didn't do anything. She tried a spell to reverse it and it didn't work."

"Darn it," Dawn pouted, "So far it looks and sounds like we're going to have to wait it out. I hate that."

"Sometimes there's a meaning for these things when they happen," Phoebe said. "Maybe Cole and I need to learn something about each other, and so do Dean and Sam."

Dawn definitely hadn't thought of things like that. "Maybe they do. So, have you learned anything?"

Phoebe blushed. "How to shimmer and...how to pee standing up," she said. "That's about it so far."

Dawn squealed in amusement. "Phoebe!"

Phoebe giggled some more. "Too much information, huh?"

"Maybe just a little," she giggled. "Was it all kinds of complicated?" Because, really, who else could she ask? "With the standing up?"

"It really wasn't all that hard to, um, aim," Phoebe said, still giggling. "I even put the seat down when I was done."

"It's too bad you can't teach them that," Dawn said. She was sharing a bathroom with Sam, after all, and he'd grown up with just Dean and their father.

"I grew up in a house full of women," Phoebe said. "So I was lucky in that respect."

"You can have too many girls in the house, too, though," Dawn shuddered, remembering all those potential slayers and just one bathroom.

"Two sisters, one grandmother, and one cat," Phoebe said. "But it was a big house at least."

"That's a lot," Dawn nodded.

"It wasn't too bad," Phoebe said. "I'm the baby of the family so I got away with a lot." She grinned.

Dawn grinned back. "Isn't it great? I did that, too."

"It's going to be weird here when Piper is gone," Phoebe said. "Paige already went home, so it'll just be me here."

"Wow." Dawn shook her head, missing Buffy again, "But you've got friends here, and Bel--it's not like you'll be alone."

Phoebe smiled. "True. I just wonder what will happen when we graduate. Grams'll kill me if I bring a demon home."

"Maybe she won't notice?" Dawn said hopefully.

"When she was here for graduation we pretended Blair was Cole," Phoebe giggled. "I'm not sure if she fell for it."

"She thinks you're dating Blair???" Wow, and Dawn thought she was a bad schemer.

Phoebe nodded. "Grams knew I was dating someone, so Blair pretended to be him so Grams wouldn't sense a demon nearby."

"Did that work?" Dawn asked, flipping her hair back.

"I don't think she completely bought it, but she didn't say anything," Phoebe admitted. "She knows the type of guys I generally go for aren't...Blair."
