Bridge was sprawled on the couch, flipping through channels absently until he settles on one broadcasting a concert: Kira Ford, Live From New York.

"Isn't being in some girl's body enough?" Joxer said morosely. "But I'm much betterr now that I've found you." Part of his brain wanted to reach out and hug her, but it seemed like that would be odd from this body.

Kaylee thought the same thing, but she figured it couldn't hurt. "Need a hug?"

Joxer nodded eagerly, then hesitated. "If it wouldn't be too weird, with these in the way," he said, groping his own breasts.

Kaylee couldn't help laughing. "It's quite alright. I've hugged girls before with no problem."

Joxer smiled, not sure why she was laughing, and reached to give Kaylee a hug.

"Your hair smells nice," he told her.

"Thanks," Kaylee said with a smile. So Joxer looked and sounded different, but he still managed to say the right things.

This might not be the right thing, though. "So would you still like me if I told you I woke up with someone else this morning?" he asked. "Or this body did, anyhow."

"It's not your fault you woke up somewhere else," Kaylee said. "So I can't really hold it against ya."

Joxer made a mental note of that for future use. Not that he expected to need it, of course. "You're such a great girlfriend," he beamed. "I hope whatever's cursed me ends soon."

Kaylee nodded in agreement. "I hope so, too. Because this is weird. Still, I like talking to you, no matter what you look like."

"You're so sweet," Joxer exclaimed. "So how have you been today?"
