"I'd have to be really sneaky and never leave any kind of trail that could be traced back to me." Xander considered that for a second, then sighed. "So in other words they'd catch me after about a month."

Xander frowned. "I dunno. 'Cause I get not cheating? But on the other hand I'm really not in favor of the whole cosmic rules thing. I figure there's gotta be some things you can get away with changing or making better or... something."

"What would you change?" asked Conner. "Just curious, 'cause I'm not sure what I would, unless it was maybe figuring out a way to go back and stop Mesogog without losing our powers, and even that I'm not so sure about."

Xander frowned. "I don't think there's anything in my past I could get away with changing. Though I guess if I could there's some people I'd undo some things with. But there's a bunch of people here from what's kind of my future, in my dimension, and I don't think things have to turn out a certain way for me just because it did for them, y'know?"
