Bridge was sprawled on the couch, flipping through channels absently until he settles on one broadcasting a concert: Kira Ford, Live From New York.

"We... could do that, yeah." Bridge grins.

"Not in the pool, though." Xander shakes his head and shudders slightly.

"Um, no. Definitely not." Bridge nods vigorously. "There are way better places for that."

"Ones out of camera range, for one," Xander replies, nodding. "By the way, and there is totally no segue here, I think I know what my frog's name is. Um, the one that's not purple."

"Yeah?" Bridge asks, curious.

Xander nods. "Notzilla. Since he's, you know. Not gonna be stomping all over town."

Bridge laughs. "That is a truly awesome name. Which... the giraffe still needs one," he notes.

"I thought about 'Notrichard'" Xander adds, "but it didn't have quite the same ring. Hrrm. Graffe names." He scratches his head. "Geoffrey? No, I guess that's kind of taken."

Suddenly, something occurs to Bridge. "Ted is a pretty respectable giraffe name."

"I like that name," Xander agrees. "It's short, yet...short."

"Ted it is, then," Bridge says with a decisive nod.

"Notzilla and Ted." Xander nods twice, then says, "You ever get the feeling we're a little strange?"

"No," Bridge says, completely honestly.

"...you ever get the feeling we're normal and everybody else is strange?"

"Yes." Bridge says. Again, completely seriously.

"I kinda like that interpretation better too."

"Considering that half of the people in this room are apparently actually other people?" Bridge points out, "that definitely tips the scale in favour of us being the sane ones."

"Aaaaaaaand despite liking that interpretation, I still find it scary."

Bridge just gives Xander a confused look.

Xander realizes he's going to get nowhere with this line of logic, so he falls back on the next available thought in his head.

"You're kind of adorable. Just sayin'."

Bridge ducks his head and blushes a bit. "Thanks? Though I'm not entirely sure what prompted that."

"I know." Xander's not snickering, really. "Sort of my point."

"Okay, and now I'm just gonna smile and nod." Bridge says. And does exactly that.
