Outside the dorms, Thursday afternoon

After Wilderness Survival, Walter decided he hadn't had enough of weather that wasn't actively trying to roast him, so he took Pup out onto the front lawn to throw the frisbee and let them both get a bit of exercise. He'd managed to get the red tie away from Pup when they came outside and had it draped around his neck to keep it from further indignities of being dragged through wet or muddy grass.

"Hey!" Walter tossed the growling frisbee toward Pippi, sending Pup on a frantic yapping path after it.

Pippi caught the frisbee and held it up in the air for Pup to jump at.

"What's new?"

"Nadia is going to be working at Cafe Fina as punishment for trying to slip out of Stealth and not being stealthy enough," Walter said while Pup bounced at Pippi's feet and tried to get enough height to snatch the frisbee out of her hand.

"It could just be me, but even if she'd been able to be stealthy enough at the time she tried to slip out of class she'd still be in the same situation." she said giving the frisbee a light toss at Walter.

Walter shrugged and leaned over to snatch the frisbee away just before Pup could latch onto it. He held the disc above Pup until the hellpuppy jumped up and grabbed it in his teeth, then lifted him to dangle above the ground, frisbee and dog both growling.

"I'm not so sure. Alfred respects not getting caught. If she'd been stealthy enough, I think things would have been different."

"Hmmm, I'll keep that in mind." Pippi said.

Walter shook the frisbee a few times to dislodge Pup and tossed it to Pippi, sending it a little high on purpose.

"What's new with you?"

Pippi back peddled a bit and jumped up to catch the frisbee, which she waved at Pup.

"I asked Pip out and he said yes." Grinning and bouncing here, but that could just be because of Pup right?

"Seras helped me pick out a dress and is gonna help me with makeup... 'Cause last time I put on makeup it didn't go so well (http://static.flickr.com/71/211408774_b72284a100.jpg?v=0)."

"You realize this calls for threats?" Walter asked, grinning at both Pup and Pippi. "It's traditional."

"I've already been threatened by Veronica." Pippi grinned back. "So you're a bit late to the party."

She tossed the disk back at Walter, low to the ground.

"Only Veronica?" Walter let the frisbee hit the ground since Pup was starting to get a little frantic about catching the disc. "Don't forget to talk to Merdebaise and let her threaten you. Furrball threatened me, after all."

"Merdebaise threatens everybody all the time." Pippi pointed out. "But I'll be sure to give her the chance to do it for a specific reason."

"I still haven't met her for all that she's fast becoming a dorm legend." Pup was growling ferociously at the frisbee, but had picked it up and appeared to be trotting off toward a stick that was poking up off the ground.

"And who said I was going to threaten you?"

"I'm going to take that as a complement." Pippi said putting her fists on her hips. "Thank you."

Tim, fresh from his workshops, headed out for the wide open spaces of in front of the dorms.

"Catch!" A loudly growling frisbee sailed Tim's way, pursued by a loudly growling hellpuppy.

Walter nodded. "You should. I don't threaten people for just anyone, I'll have you know."

"I'm honored that you have decided to threaten somebody who is not a Nazi for me." Pippi curtsied. "I shall mark this day and celebrate it every year here after."

Walter walked over to pluck Pup off the ground before he could try to spear the frisbee on the stick. He wasn't likely to get back to Diagon Alley to replace the toy anytime soon, after all.

"You should do that. Back a cake, decorate it with wires and brass knuckles. It will be smashing."

"I'd rather eat it the smash it."

"Smash it with clean hands and then eat it?"

This he suggests to the person who admitted to The Doctor and his class that she considers it a personal victory when she goes to a celebration and does not end up with cake all over her.

"Yeah... I'm trying to cut back on that." she grinned.

"That's right. You'd rather wear the flour before it's cooked into cake or brownies or shepherd's pie."

Back the original point that led to talk of cake smashing. "What sort of date are you two going on?"

This time, Tim was not surrised by the growling Frisbee, and managed to catch it.
