Outside the dorms, Thursday afternoon

After Wilderness Survival, Walter decided he hadn't had enough of weather that wasn't actively trying to roast him, so he took Pup out onto the front lawn to throw the frisbee and let them both get a bit of exercise. He'd managed to get the red tie away from Pup when they came outside and had it draped around his neck to keep it from further indignities of being dragged through wet or muddy grass.

"Hey!" Walter tossed the growling frisbee toward Pippi, sending Pup on a frantic yapping path after it.

Pippi caught the frisbee and held it up in the air for Pup to jump at.

"What's new?"

"Nadia is going to be working at Cafe Fina as punishment for trying to slip out of Stealth and not being stealthy enough," Walter said while Pup bounced at Pippi's feet and tried to get enough height to snatch the frisbee out of her hand.

"It could just be me, but even if she'd been able to be stealthy enough at the time she tried to slip out of class she'd still be in the same situation." she said giving the frisbee a light toss at Walter.

Walter shrugged and leaned over to snatch the frisbee away just before Pup could latch onto it. He held the disc above Pup until the hellpuppy jumped up and grabbed it in his teeth, then lifted him to dangle above the ground, frisbee and dog both growling.

"I'm not so sure. Alfred respects not getting caught. If she'd been stealthy enough, I think things would have been different."

"Hmmm, I'll keep that in mind." Pippi said.

Walter shook the frisbee a few times to dislodge Pup and tossed it to Pippi, sending it a little high on purpose.

"What's new with you?"

Pippi back peddled a bit and jumped up to catch the frisbee, which she waved at Pup.

"I asked Pip out and he said yes." Grinning and bouncing here, but that could just be because of Pup right?

"Seras helped me pick out a dress and is gonna help me with makeup... 'Cause last time I put on makeup it didn't go so well (http://static.flickr.com/71/211408774_b72284a100.jpg?v=0)."

"You realize this calls for threats?" Walter asked, grinning at both Pup and Pippi. "It's traditional."

"I've already been threatened by Veronica." Pippi grinned back. "So you're a bit late to the party."

She tossed the disk back at Walter, low to the ground.

"Only Veronica?" Walter let the frisbee hit the ground since Pup was starting to get a little frantic about catching the disc. "Don't forget to talk to Merdebaise and let her threaten you. Furrball threatened me, after all."

"Merdebaise threatens everybody all the time." Pippi pointed out. "But I'll be sure to give her the chance to do it for a specific reason."

Tim, fresh from his workshops, headed out for the wide open spaces of in front of the dorms.

"Catch!" A loudly growling frisbee sailed Tim's way, pursued by a loudly growling hellpuppy.

This time, Tim was not surrised by the growling Frisbee, and managed to catch it.

Pup raced over and bounced underfoot, yapping at the frisbee or Tim or both of them.

Walter grinned and watched. "Hey. I haven't seen you in a while. How are you?"

Tim threw the frisbee back to Walter. "Not too bad, had to go home for a week."

"For nothing too bad, I hope?"

Pup gave Tim a reproachful look before turning to race off after the frisbee again.

"Sorry Pup." Tim apologized, then sighed, realizing this might be a touchy subject. "Uhm, Vampire actually. Friend's cousin, wanted to stay in my apartment."

Walter raised an eyebrow and snagged the frisbee to give it a gentle toss for Pup to catch.

"Stay in the 'hello, I'm visiting from out of town, I won't be a problem,' sort of way? Or in the 'hello, I'd like to kill you and your family,' sort of way?"

"The first one. He says he has very strict rules about drinking his host. And as for the rest of the populace, well, Yaroslav's not a very good Vampire. As in, he's kind of bad at it."

Walter smirked and knelt down to tug on the frisbee Pup was now gnawing on. "That's good for the populace, and good for him, if you think about it. Since it doesn't attract attention of the stake-wielding, decapitating variety."

"His cousin points that out to him every time he complains about how long it takes him to turn from a bat to human." Tim grinned. "And to top it all off he's an okay guy."

"How long does it take for him to change from a bat to a human?" Walter asked, extricating the frisbee from Pup's jaws and tossing it back toward Tim. "Professional interest and all."
