It may have looked like Pip was dozing if you happened to come in at the wrong angle, what with the eyepatch and all.

In reality, he was watching Saturday Morning cartoons.

And trying very very hard to not think about his date to night.

Joxe wandered into the common room, yawning and stretching. He was, amazingly, not in his armor.

"What's on the magic box this morning?"

"Currently, a commercial. Hopefully when it gets back, something better than what was on before."

"Right," Joxer said, sitting down. "So it wasn't good before?"

"Nah," Pip said, sitting up. "Looked to be Japanese. Sounded like a bunch of five year olds did the voices."

"Sakurazki is Japanese," Joxer said, as if this was somehow the most important and pertinent information ever.

"That she is," Pip responded. "Doesn't sound like a five year old, though."

Joxer shook his head. "But maybe she could, if she wanted to?"

Pip appeared to think about this. "Probably. She does have a high pitched voice. Although anyone could sound like a five year old if they tried, probably."

"Good point," Joxer said. "Erm, so what's so wrong about five year old sounding Japanese magic box people?"

Breakfast is the most important part of the day.

So Pippi flounced into the common room with the intention of making breakfast when she noticed the back of a particular head in in front of the television.

Aaaand that's when it struck her how nervous she was about the whole thing...

Breakfast. Right.

"Good morning!" she tried to say as if were fine.

Just fine.

We're all fine.

Absolutely fine. Not having second thoughts and dealing with a personal inabillity to have relationships.

Not at all.

"Morning."

Certainly fine. Certainly not thinking about ruining perfectly good friendships or what happens if they don't feel the same.

Nope.

"I'm making breakfast." Pippi, who was actually standing perfectly still several feet from the kitchenette, said. "Would you like some?"

"Hmmm, depends. Whatcha making?"

Suck it up girl it's just breakfast.

"Eggs." Do not say Bernadette... "Benedict."

"Well, if you're offering," Pip said. "I won't turn them down."

"I am." she said starting to rummage around for the ingredients.

"Well then, I would love some, thank you."

"You're welcome." she said starting to put everything together.

Make your breakfast, eat your breakfast, go to cheer practice.

It's not that hard, you've done it before.

Joxer waved at Pippi. He was in normal clothes today, rather than armor. "Hey Pippi," he said.

"Good morning Joxter, are you having a day of rest or is your armor in the shop?"

"Day off," Joxer said. "Even a hero has to take one eventually, right?"

"Of course!" she nodded. "Would you like some eggs?"
