Outside Dorms, Monday Afternoon

Without daily classes to occupy their time, the twins wound up being extremely restless after a late morning wake-up. Looking for SOMETHING to do that doesn't involve too much extra walking (for they feel they have no purpose to go to town), they stroll around outside the dorms, perhaps looking for trouble.

((ooc: slow play for now, open to all))

Sakurazaki was out on the grounds giving her wings a bit of a strengthening stretch and workout, to prepare them for their upcoming parachute duties.

It didn't take long for her to wonder why in the world she didn't go on the roof to do this.

"Oh, God. You two." The wings drooped a little.

[[ also on slowplay/no play until sevenish est; depends on how long my next class runs ]]

"Knock it off with the honourific," Sakurazaki said; Japanese or not, at this point, it just felt weird to be so formal in Fandom. "And, it wouldn't be a very good disguise if I was just walking around with them out like this, now, would it? So, to answer your question, no."

She sounded just a weeeee bit testy toward them.

[identity profile] bound2blade.livejournal.com 2006-08-28 09:57 pm (UTC)(link)
Sakurazaki's eyes narrowed a little. If the twins were particularly detail orientated, they may have noticed that she did it when they listed their second guess. "Does it matter? I was born with them. But I won't have them for long. I'm getting them...removed soon. But I'll be needing them today."

[identity profile] bound2blade.livejournal.com 2006-08-29 12:23 am (UTC)(link)
That simultanious 'get rid of them?' was quite possibly the creepiest thing Sakurazaki had ever heard. The tips of her feathers shivered involuntarily.

"I'm just tired of hiding things."

"Of course I like flying," Sakurazaki crossed her arms across her chest a bit, frowning. When did she ever suggest that she didn't? "But you think they let me just fly around Japan? Flying is only a freedom for me when I'm here at Fandom."

"People always want what they don't have, anyway. And what is one man's desire is another man's curse."

[identity profile] bound2blade.livejournal.com 2006-08-29 02:22 am (UTC)(link)
"Oh, that's got to be the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard." Sakurazaki rolled her eyes, but there was a bit of a wince in there and her cheeks were turning a little pink. Obviously, these boys knew nothing about demons.

[identity profile] bound2blade.livejournal.com 2006-08-29 02:42 am (UTC)(link)
"A demon would only look like a demon, big, ugly, maybe with horns, distorted features, so on, so forth, unless it had magical properties that allowed it to transform," she explained, very matter-of-fact. "So, if it was a bird variety, it could only turn into a full bird if it possessed magical ability, which would have nothing to do with them being a demon, and more to do with them being magical. Most demons have an extreme amount of difficulty actually using magic, unless they have some human blood in them."

She regretted adding that last part, but, technically, to the best of her knowledge, this was all correct. It was only half-demons like herself or Bel that she knew to have full human forms. And any demon who could shape shift did so by magic, either their own in rare cases like succubi and incubi, or through the magic of an accomplice.

"I should know," she finished with a lifted chin, wondering why the hell she suddenly felt the need to show some sort of bad-ass facade around these two. Maybe they'd be a little less inclined to suspect she was a demon if they knew what she did to demons. "I've spent the last few years hunting them down and killing them."

[identity profile] bound2blade.livejournal.com 2006-08-29 03:24 am (UTC)(link)
Sakurazaki wasn't sure whether to look annoyed or gawk at them in disbelief. Did these boys know nothing about demons?

"If you can categorize running secret, underground networks of death and demolition as 'obnoxious,' then, yes, they are being so. Tell me something, boys. Have you ever encountered a demon?"

[identity profile] bound2blade.livejournal.com 2006-08-29 03:42 am (UTC)(link)
"Yeah, well, even outside of private school, they aren't taught, nor do they run around demolishing things...in an obvious way. They work covertly. Do their damage, then flee like the coward bastards they are. And that's why we have to hunt them. Think they'd just stick around, waving their vile arms and saying 'Look at us! We're evil! Come kill us, la-la-la?' No."

These two made her feel especially snarky. Maybe it was just the effect Japanese boys had on Sakurazaki.

[identity profile] bound2blade.livejournal.com 2006-08-29 04:02 am (UTC)(link)
Sakurazaki sighed. Very, very heavily. The wings sighed with her, drooping significantly. Ugh. Boys.

"That was my point in asking. It was an ironic question. In asking you if you've ever come across one and expecting you to answer 'no,' it only confirms my point about how they don't just go gallavanting around. If they did, your answer, obviously, would have been, 'why, yes, Setsuna-san, we have.' " She added a slight, sing-songy immitation of their creepy, creepy responses.

[identity profile] bound2blade.livejournal.com 2006-08-29 04:40 am (UTC)(link)
UGH. Boys, indeed. They were twice as bad as Ranma, in all aspects of the word!

"You two," she stated, chin inclined to its highest yet, "are just terrible."

[identity profile] bound2blade.livejournal.com 2006-08-29 04:53 am (UTC)(link)
"What the hell is that suppose to mean?"

Yes. That was just about nearly a screech. It didn't take very long from her to go from exasperated to quite obviously very, very distressed. The nerve! The gall! Who were they to put her in this sort of situation? How...Ugh, stupid, pompous, elitist, creepy twins, thinking they could just...demand her deepest, darkest secrets out of her and expect her to just hand them over like a birthday present!

[identity profile] bound2blade.livejournal.com 2006-08-29 05:09 am (UTC)(link)
"Yeah, well, curiousity killed the fucking cat," Sakurazaki snapped sharply; even her wings seemed rigid with rage, but there was still an edge of frantic panic behind it all. "It's a birth defect, okay? I don't need to stand here and be harrassed about it by a couple of....ignorant little snobs like you. Apparantly, they don't teach common human decency in those private schools of yours, do they?"

[identity profile] bound2blade.livejournal.com 2006-08-29 05:30 am (UTC)(link)
"Well, maybe they should have taught you when to fucking quit."

Sakurazaki decided that if they couldn't figure it out, she'd help them. Brushing past them with her wings, she started to leave for the causeway. She had more important things to do. Acting parachute for skateboard training was very important.

If Sakurazaki had any control in the matter (which she usually didn't), they were gonna be waiting for a very long time.

Edward was outside, kicking his soccer ball around and contemplating rounding up his brother for some one-on-one when he saw the twins. He blinked a few times, closed one eye, then the other, and then scratched his head.

"Two of you?"

[identity profile] alchemic-bean.livejournal.com 2006-08-28 11:53 pm (UTC)(link)
"In textbooks, sure." Edward eyed them suspiciously. "I've never really run across any outside of medicial studies." He toed the ball and shrugged. "I'm Edward Elric."

[identity profile] alchemic-bean.livejournal.com 2006-08-29 01:55 am (UTC)(link)
Edward looked between the two, about to ask which was which but decided better of it. "Yeah, he's my baby brother."

[identity profile] alchemic-bean.livejournal.com 2006-08-29 02:23 am (UTC)(link)
"Really?" Edward cocked an eyebrow. "I don't pay attention to those sort of things. He seems to be quite popular around here, anyway..."

[identity profile] alchemic-bean.livejournal.com 2006-08-29 02:45 am (UTC)(link)
"Eh, not so much." Edward shrugged, attention on the soccer ball again. "I'm not the people person anyway. It's just...strange."
