5th Floor Common Room, Late Monday Morning

JD was sitting on the floor in the 5th floor common room, wearing a pair of lime green pajama bottoms with little blue puppies on them and a white wife beater tank top. Crossed legged in front of the TV, he is watching cartoons and tossing a small bouncy ball repeatedly against the wall.

After the gym, Peter poked his head into the Common Room. Seeing a face he didn't recognise, he came in. "Morning, how goes it?" he asked with a smile.

JD, surprised by the newcomer, misses his ball upon it's return as it bounces wildly off into a corner of the room. He smoothly ignores it, hoping the other student didn't notice, and starts boucning with a new one, retrieved from a small bowl of them on the floor next to him.

"Good morning! Just seeing what there is to see on TV."

Cartoons. Sweet.

"Sorry, didn't mean to startle you," Peter said, taking a seat on the couch. "I'm Peter Pevensie - I take it you're either new or have been hiding in the woods all summer?"

Dean was just wandering around the floor, trying to get a feel of where he'd be spending most of his time from now on. He heard the rhythmic thumping of a bouncy ball, and looked in on the guy in the common room.

"Hey! What's on tv?" he asked, flopping down on the couch.

River swooshed by and caught the ball behind her back, then threw to back to the newcomer. "Hi. You must be new. I'm River."

"I like the woods."

JD paused.

"Oh, I'm new. Name's JD."

JD looked over his shoulder, pausing in his conversation with Peter.

"Looks like cartoons"

"Nice to meet you, JD," Peter replied. "It's too bad you weren't here for the summer, we had a wilderness survival workshop that was pretty interesting."

Peter waved to the other boy from where he was sitting. "Morning, Sam. Are you enjoying no longer being the new kids?"

JD tried to catch the ball, but missed, losing yet another to the corner of the room. He picked up another from the bowl.

JD stood up gracefully, and bowed, tuxedo tails flowing gracefully behind his pajama pants. He took River's hand, kissing it softly and staring meaninfully into her eyes.

"And it is a pleasure to meet one as beautiful as you."

"I could definitely go for some cartoons right about now." He grinned, glad to be able to turn off his brain for a while. Things were intense here.

JD bobbed his head in a cocky nod.

"Oh, I could survive me some wilderness, if you know what I mean."

Dean laughed quietly and looked at the ceiling. Here we go again...

"Good morning, but uh. I'm not Sam. I'm Dean. And I am definitely a new kid."

"Did you grow up in it?" Peter asked. In what was a surprisingly reasonable question for Fandom.

Peter looked at him more closely. "Really?" He laughed. "You mean Sam and Dean both have doubles here now? That's brilliant. I'm sorry. I'm Peter Pevensie. Nice to meet you then." He stood up to offer a handshake.

"Um... no. I grew up near Chicago. It's sort of like the wilderness... if the wilderness had no trees and was paved with blacktop."

Pippi is moving Old Man from 506 down to the new stables on the first floor.

"Hi!" The red-headed teen-aged girl said as a white horse with black spots came up behind her from the hall that lead to the dorm rooms.

Dean smiled and nodded, resigned. "Yup, really. The fact that I look like one of them and have the same name as the other makes things even crazier. I don't know what to think anymore," he said, standing up to shake Peter's hand as well. "Nice to meet you too, Peter. You must be English, right?"

"Uh." Dean's jaw dropped, and he did a double-take as he saw the horse. Inside. On the fifth floor. "Hi?"

JD turned from his other conversation and stared.

Around him, the world brightened, the birds began to sing and cicle around Pippi's beautiful red hair. Her hair was adorned with flowers and her face glowed with a divine radiance. From the woodwork of the walls, woodland creatures began to gather at her feet, entranced by her warmth and beauty.\

"Oh? Well thank you." she says smiling and oblivious. "Are you new?"
