Room 408-Tuesday afternoon

Didymus had found himself missing his roommate, they just hadn't had a chance to meet up yet. When he had arrived at the room last night, he had handwavily gone to bed.

He had handwavily wandered around campus again whilst his mun was sleeping the day away , and finally made his way back to his dorm room.

He fought with the door again, hoping that his roommate would allow him to have Ambrosius, because his noble steed, made a wonderful stool besides being a companion.

Making his way inside, he looked around for his roommate, wondering if she was there for him to meet.

Naomi had been in her room for the majority of the day on Monday and had been asleep when her roommate had arrived, she hadn't seen him at all today since she had been at the first aid course and had been hanging out in the fourth floor hallway and meeting a bunch of new people (or at least new people to her). Now she had returned to her room and she was sitting on her bed rereading over Starfleet regulations that were on one of the many data padds that she had brought with her, even though she already knew them off by heart, she figured it wouldn't hurt to keep rereading them every so often.

She glanced up at the sound of the door opening and she saw her roommate enter. She was a little caught off by his appearance, but she composed herself quickly and said, "hi, I'm Naomi Wildman," as she placed down the data padd she knew that sounded rather stupid because she was only other person beside Sir Didymus who had a purpose for being in room 408.

Didymus' facial expression perked up and he smiled. "Ah! Pleased to make your acquaintance, milady. My name is Sir Didymus, it will be a pleasure getting to know you!"

Naomi smiled, feeling slightly more relaxed, "likewise," she replied.

[Ooc: off to class now, will be back in about an hour]

Didymus pulled himself onto his bed and turned to face Naomi. "So milady, where doth thou hail from?"

"I come from San Francisco, California, the year 2380," Naomi replied, no matter how many times that she had said it for the past two days it still felt weird having to give the year as well as her location, "I had lived there for two years before coming here, previously I was a resident of the USS Voyager, a federation starship," she paused, "and where do you come frm Sir Didymus?"

"I doth hail from a labyrinth far from here, milady.", he replied.

[OOC: I don't know for sure what time the Labyrinth is set in as it's never said in the movie. And, I don't know where for sure it would be located. Gotta love pulling characters from other character's imaginations XD]

"Labyrinth," Naomi repeated, "I can't say that I've actually heard of it, then again nobody's ever heard of where I come from, space wise at least,"

"I will admit that I have not, but I have not heard of many places that others are from either.", he paused. "I have a question of utmost important for thee. Doth thou have a problem with pets? I have left my noble steed, Ambrosius, with milady Sarah pending your approval of him."

Naomi shook her head to indicate that she didn't have a problem with pets, "no, pets are fine with me, if you want to have your pet in our room that's okay,"

Didymus jumped for joy. Now he just had to figure out how to get ahold of Sarah to have Ambrosius brought to him.

[OOC: Oh god, this is one of my more squeeish, I'm an expert on fandom....I need to watch the movie again.....I have seen Voyager though so there's a plus...]

"If you don't mind me asking, what kind of pet is Ambrosius aside from the fact that he's a noble steed?" Naomi asked

[OOC: *Makes mental note to rent Labyrinth in the holidays, which for me is in two and a half weeks when I get to go home* And yay for seeing voyager!]

"He is an english sheepdog, but not too big, mind you. He is relatively obedient.", he paused. "He's also a bit of a coward."

[OOC: I'm hoping that Didymus knowing the breed isn't out of character for him...I don't know if he has that knowledge for sure or not.]

"I never had any pets before," Naomi replied, "how long have you had him?"

[OOC: I'd have absolutely no idea, not much help there I know]

Didymus was silent as he didn't know how to answer her question. "All my life I'm sure."

[OOC: meow..yeah we'll go with that >.>; Didymus as Ambrosious almost the whole time you see him in the movie.]

"Oh," Naomi replied as she thought of another question, "so what do you think of Fandom High so far Sir Didymus?"

"It is indeed a challenge if I have ever seen one. I am quite enjoying myself. Though, I have only had the pleasure of meeting two people here.", he replied.

"How about thee, milady?"

"It's different to what I expected," Naomi admitted, "it was my parents idea to send me here and ... well ... I wasn't really happy when I learnt that I would be coming to Fandom High," she stopped for a minute before she continued, "but after two days, I have to admit that it's not that bad,"

"Well, we can hope that our experience here will be a very good one. Right, milady?"

"Right," Naomi nodded in agreement, "my mom always used to say that you should always take every opportunity that you have and make it into something worthwile,"

Didymus' nodded. "So wilt thou tell me, what is that contraption thou hast there?" He motioned to the data pad she had sat down earlier. "I'm afraid I'm not familiar with many of the contraptions here."

"It's called a data padd," Naomi replied, picking it up and holding it in her hands, "where I come from it's a convient way to store information,"

"How convenient! It must be very useful!"

He paused and let out a gentle sigh. "What doth thou do for fun, milady? I fancy a game of Scrabble here or there. Have you ever played that wonderful game?"

[OOC: Heh, my favorite line in the movie of Didymus' is "I say, does anyone want to play a game of Scrabble?"]

Naomi nodded, "it is," she agreed, "very, especially when I'm looking up stuff," she considered Didymus' question, "Back home I liked playing games on the Holodeck," she replied, "My favorite game was the Adventures of Flotter, I haven't played that in a while though ... non holodeck wise, I like reading and studying," she paused, "I have played scrabble," she replied, "it is a fun game, of course my all time favorite game is Katis-Kot,"
