Fourth Floor Common Room//Thursday Morning

Seras had taken the medicine that Ms. Poppins had given her before bed last night. It had, oddly enough, tasted just like gingerbeer. And, it seemed to be at least somewhat effective.

Seras still looked rather corpse-like, but her appetite was back. Which was a good thing because the two pairs of jeans that she hadn't cut up while under the impression that she was, in fact, an anarchist punkish rebel, were starting to bag at the waist.

Still clad in pajamas and wearing thick, though mismatched socks, she'd made her way down to the Common Room and fixed herself (and anyone else who cared for some) a large batch of apple cinnamon oatmeal with lots of brown sugar.

She was now curled up on the couch, dividing her attention between her breakfast, the old Errol Flynn movie that was on tv, and her copy of the London Times, circa 1993.

"That would be me, yes. Though I usually go by Teddy." He needed that name tag back.

"I usually go by Tyler," Tyler said. "Though really, what's in a name?"

Teddy thinks about his names and nods, "True."

"Though that phrase sounds like someone who was stuck with a bad name. Like Reginald. Or Wilhelmina."

"Also true," Tyler said. "I'd rather be called 'new kid' than Wlhelmina." He paused and took a bite of oatmeal. "Probably even if I was a girl."

Teddy snickered. "It's my roommate's name. But she goes by Will."

He paused to virtually inhale half his bowl of oatmeal. What? He's a growing boy.

"Though I think it's better then Theodore. The whole 'character from Dracula' thing is cooler then people asking if you now Alvin and Simon."

Tyler snickered. "At least Theodore was cooler than Simon."

He rolled his eyes, but smiled anyway.

"Not much of an acomplishment. Everyone was cooler than Simon."

"True," Tyler laughed. "But I believe in the small victories."

"So how's the girl roommate thing working out?"

"Awkward. Very awkward." He blushed again. Why couldn't he have a super-power that prevented him from blushing?

"Though, I think we're a step up from others. She doesn't think I'm going to molest her at night or anything."

He turned to face Tyler better, "Why, do you have a girl roommate?"

Aww, blushing. Cute. "Nope. I'm with Alec. Who is a guy, not short for Alexandra or anything."

"It would suck if you thought your roommate would molest you."

"Alec?" Teddy chewed on his spoon for a moment, trying to place the name. "Shirtless guy at the BigBrother thing? With the guy who looks just like him, but isn't related?"

"Sounds like him," Tyler said. "I didn't see him shirtless Sunday, but wouldn't surprise me. The not-twin is Dean."

"Dean, okay. One of the these days I'm going to figure all these not-twins out."

He sighed, thinking of home. "It's so much easier when they're the same person from an alternate time-line."

Tyler blinked at that. A lot. "We don't have any of those here. I think."

Teddy raised his eyebrows at that.

"Really? They're, well not common, but they happen more often then not back at home."

He paused, "Sometimes people get their kids from alternate time-lines. Or the future."

"So the kid can be older than the parents?," Tyler asked, trying to picture it. "You're from a weird world."

He paused. "I've heard there are some people here where there was a different versiion of them before, but never at the same time."

He laughed, "Yeah, it is kinda weird when you stop and think about it."
