After a conversation with the twins that made her feel pretty horrible Matilda had retreated to her favorite escape, a very thick book. She might have been batting away a few tears with the back of her fist. She was curled up in a chair and and being very quiet. It was probable that someone might not notice her unless they actually entered the room.

Schrodinger grinned. "Where have you been before, then?"

"Just Nevada. Nothing special I'm afraid." She smiles with him. Wow she sure is easy to cheer up. Though his statment begs her next question. "Have you been anywhere cooler than here?"

"England, Argentina, Germany," Schro rattled off. "Costa Rica, Japan, Florida."

"Wow! How exciting! So can you speak a lot of different languages?"

Schrodinger shrugged. "English. German. A smattering of others."

"That's really awesome." She smiles sweetly. "So what classes are you taking?"

"Theory of War, Cross-species Communication, History of Espionage, Applied Science, Interstellar Communication," Schrodinger replied.

"Hey! I'm taking Theory of War too! And Ranma is cross-species with you. HAHAHA Then Astronomy, World Religions, Liturature in Action, and that History into Myth class."

"Do you know much about the Theory of War teacher?" Schrodinger askedd.

"Nothing at all I'm afraid."

Schrodinger nodded. "What's your interest in war, then?"

"Maybe I'm plotting to take over the world." She laughs. "I'm kidding of course. It just sounded interesting. I like to learn all kinds of things and this would just be something I haven't studied much yet."

Schrodinger nodded. "War is an interesting subject. Almost the universal language."

"Well a punch in the face does sound the same in all languages." She cocks a smirk.

Schrodinger smiled. "Exactly. Fire a gun, slash with a sword. Everyone knows what you mean."

"Not that I'm some war monger. It's more that I can't stand for injustice. Things like the Revolutionary War and the French Revolution are just incredible. Some causes can only be won with force."

Schrodinger nodded. "Oh yes. There's no doubt there."

"Seems like we're both well suited for the class huh?" She smiles again. Schrodinger is a much more interesting person than she expected when you looked past the ears.

"It appears to be," Schrodinger said.

Not really knowing what else to talk about she glaces dow nto the book on her lap. "Do you like reading at all Schrodinger?"

"Some," Schrodinger said. "I'm better reading in German than in English."

"So are you from Germany?"

"Originally," Schrodinger said.

"It must be really amazing to be able to travel so much. I've always dreamed of visiting another country myself."

"Oh, traveling is easy," Schrodinger said. "All it takes is the desire to go there."
