5th Floor Common Room, Monday Evening

John Dorian is sitting in the 5th floor common room, attempting to conceal very large quantities of paint. However, he is not doing a very good job about it, so anyone poking their head in can probably see not only that there is paint, but that there seems to be inordinate number of pastels. He is trying, obviously, to look innocent as he waits for some of his friends to, hopefully arrive.

Maybe I should have left a message or something.

((OOC: Open to all. We're gonna paint the common room, and maybe some other stuff. There's a lot of paint. However, there is an octopus on one of the walls in the common room, complete with pirate accoutrements, so don't paint over that. We're just adding some... uh... personality.))

"Or are we just leaving the squid how it is, or adding on a set of red pigtails?"

JD jerked back to reality again, letting his dreams fade away.

"I think we're just leaving it how it is. But you might want to ask Pippi." He smiled again. "She might like the idea."

"I'll have to ask her about that. But 'til then, periwinkle walls, all the way!"

"Awesome. Are you going to paint anything over the periwinkle background?"

"Maybe? I'm thinking maybe something like a castle and clouds and random float-y orbs (http://www.egmontbulgaria.com/witch/images/worlds/kandrakar.jpg) somewhere over there." She pointed to an empty spot on the wall. "But I'm not a great artist, so we'll see how it turns out."

JD tried to smile winningly.

"I'm sure you're a great artist, Will. Come on! Let's make this common room our own!"

He held up his brush, as if trying to rally troops.

Will shrugged, but still raised her brush to JD.

She started applying on the base coat. How, many many towers did the hall of Candracar have? She started to whistle a bit as she painted.

JD tried to whistle along, very much off tune.

Smiled smiled at that, and tried to coach him along, by whistling the tune once through. She might have also used funny hand gestures to try and better show how it went.

JD giggled at the hand gestures, girlishly. But he tried harder, getting closer to the actual tune.

Will grinned, flashed him a thumbs up, and repeated it again. He was doing much better at it.
