Dorm Roof - Thursday - After classes and into early evening.

Pippi is hanging out on the roof, almost literally.

She's dancing along the very edge of it on her tippy toes.

She's also singing a song by Spinal Tap, from the CD she purchased today on Jamie's recommendation.

Walter headed for the roof after getting a clue from Furrball. Somehow, he wasn't too shocked to see Pippi and not Nadia.

"Hey. I don't suppose Nadia left anything with you for me?"

Walter didn't look chagrined, but he did go to join her on the edge of the roof. "Nadia has me on a bit of a treasure hunt. How are you this evening?"

Walter snagged the shiny object out of the air and turned it over in his palm. "That's perfect, Pippi, thank you." And called for a hug.

Walter hooted and leapt away from the building, letting Pippi fall unhindered for a couple of floors before grabbing her with a careful net of wire and casting out more toward the building to start slowing their fall.

He put more effort into slowing her fall than his own to let him catch up with her, although both hands were occupied and he couldn't grab the box yet.

Walter definitely sounded about as sane as he really was. Not very.

But now it seemed that Walter was going to make it to the ground before Pippi, leaving him in a good position to try to snatch the box out of her hand when she touched down.

Walter let her throw it, since that made it even easier to get. A flick of fingers and a pair of wires wrapped the box and brought it to his hand.

"Thank you for minding it for me."

Walter read the clue and laughed, laughing again at the squirrel. "I think I know exactly where to go for this one. I'll see you later, Pippi."
