3rd Floor Common Room, Evening

Schrodinger had finally discovered the joys of cable TV not controlled by the Doc.

Somehow, though, he still found himself watching the History Channel. As usual, they were doing a Hitler documentary.

Hey, you are what you are.

Chad shrugged. "Not really. It's all always the same stuff."

Another shrug. It was really the whole sort of Cult of Celebrity that these sorts of things offered to historical figures that bothered him, especially with a historical figure like Hitler, where so much attention is offered to him that his image started to transcend from a historical figure to a personality that could be interjected into popular culture like any other television or radio personality. While some, many, effectively covered the true meaning and importance of his actions and philosophy, they were often given a back seat to the ones that were more interested in conspiracy, background, even a few directed at sympahthy. And then there was the whole tactic of just rewrapping all the information in a different way, so that it felt like something different but was really saying all the same stuff as the documentary that had aired only three hours ago, but with slightly different visuals...

"Dunno," he said, finally. "They should just play something different."

Third shrug. "I don't really watch much TV," he said. "But they always seem to play World War II stuff when I do."
