Outside the dorms, Friday afternoon/evening

Pete lead the way outside at a stalk, then adjusted his hat and raised his fists.

"Right then, let's settle this as men do."

Walter nodded curtly and threw a quick jab at Pete's stomach.

To hell with letting the other guy throw the first punch, even if he was definitely going to get in trouble for this.

Pete folded in a manner not unlike that of an accordian.

"I wasn't ready!"

Walter rolled his eyes. This wasn't even going to be worth the detention.

"Then get up."

Pete roared and charged at Walter.

Walter's lip curled up in a sneer and he gauged Pete's charge to grab at his arm for a hard throw.

And Pete was in the air. Woe be to any passers by in his flight path.

Walter was waiting when Pete landed, ready to hit him again to keep him down.

Pete was working his way towards hitting back.

No, really. Arm pulled back and everything.

Right. Walter threw a punch at his face.

And Pete went down.

And didn't get back up.

Walter stood up and checked his shoes. Still gleaming.

Then he bent again to see how badly hurt Pete was.

Huh. This guy talked big for someone with a glass jaw.

Walter slapped his face a little, trying to get some reaction.

Walter blinked and finally thought to check if Pete was breathing.

It was possible that he was. Honestly, no one ever checked in canon

Still, not with the moving or anything.

Probably best to just walk away and pretend nothing happened.

Walter stood up again and nudged Pete with his foot before shrugging and turning away.

If he was lucky, he wouldn't have to do this again. It hadn't even been all that much fun.

Conner was on his way back from a jog around the island when he spotted what looked like a brawl waiting to happen.

So he wanted to watch. So sue him.

Alanna stuck her head out at her window and grinned. She silently clapped and then ducked back into her room.

She had no idea what that was about, but she's a supportive friend if nothing else.
