3rd Floor Common Room: Saturday AM [9-9]

Lana couldn't lie in bed any longer and she was afraid if she got up and started buzzing around the room that she'd wake her roommate. So instead she went to the Common Room and busied herself cutting up a ton of fresh fruit that she'd brought and brewing up some coffee and tea for anyone who might be looking for some breakfast. She also set out a bunch of bagels and muffins she'd picked up.

And at least here if she was singing a bit while she worked she wouldn't be disturbing anyone.

Joxer wandered down to this common room, just to see if the pantsless sign was still up. Then, the smell of food lured him in.

"Hey Lana, everyone," he said.

"Joxer! Good morning!" Lana greeted him with a smile.

"Morning," Joxer said. "You seem to be having a really good one, actually. What happened?"

"Really good day yesterday. Really, really good day," Lana said with a bit of a blush.

Joxer tilted his head. "Last time I was that. . ." His eyes bugged, his face started turning a peculiar shade of pink, and he instantly raised his hands to try and cover it.

Lana's eyes widened in concern. "Joxer! Are you okay? What happened?"

"I'm not having thoughts about ravishing!" Joxer protested, somewhat muffled by his hands. "I'm not!"

Lana tried to hide her grin. "It's okay, Joxer. We all have those thoughts from time to time." She glanced over at Jim. "Some days more than others."

Joxer peeked out from between his fingers.

"You didn't, I mean, have you, erm, what about. . . who's the new guy?"

"You mean Jim?" Lana asked, managing to blush only a little bit. "He's one of the new students. He's really, um... nice."

"How nice?" Joxer asked, scratching at his neck.

Still not jealous. Still not overprotective. Honest.

Lana blushed beet red. "Um... really nice?"

Joxer crossed his arms. "I'm not going to have to make sure he doesn't impune your honor, am I?"

Lana pressed her lips together really hard to prevent any hint of a smile from creeping out. "Well, I think I can watch out for my own honor," she said carefully. "But if he treats me poorly I hope I could count on you for help and support."

"Hey, Joxer. How're you doing?" Blair asked with a smile.

"I'm a bit disappointed," Joxer said, scratching at the neckline of his armor. "Normally I get in three heroic deeds before breakfast."

"Really?" Blair smiled. "How many have you gotten in today?"

"None, actually," Joxer admitted. "Unless you count polishing my helmet."

"That's too bad, man." Blair shook his head. "Did you polish it heroically?

"I polished my helmet long and hard," Joxer said. "If that's not heroic, I don't know what is," he joked.

Blair laughed and nodded. "Gotcha, man. So do we need to find two more heroic duties for you to accomplish?"

Joxer's stomach growled. "I think maybe I can live with the disappointment today," he said.

"Probably a good plan." Blair nodded.

"I agree," Joxer said, wandering off to find some food.

"Hey Joxer." Billy greeted. He was wearing shorts that clearly showed he had an artificial leg. This was in no way because Joxer had advised showing it off.
