3rd Floor Common Room: Saturday AM [9-9]

Lana couldn't lie in bed any longer and she was afraid if she got up and started buzzing around the room that she'd wake her roommate. So instead she went to the Common Room and busied herself cutting up a ton of fresh fruit that she'd brought and brewing up some coffee and tea for anyone who might be looking for some breakfast. She also set out a bunch of bagels and muffins she'd picked up.

And at least here if she was singing a bit while she worked she wouldn't be disturbing anyone.

"Good. I'll have to meet him soon." Walter made note of Jim's name and appearance against that eventuality. "And your classes?"

"So far so good. You're in at least two of them," she said. "Dance and Cross Species Communication. I also have Humor and Intro to Magic and Heroism in Literature. How are yours going?"

"This semester has more interesting classes than last." Walter nodded to himself and had a bite of apple. "The two we're in together, Prophecy, Hunting, and Constant Vigilance. Nowhere else can we get this sort of education."

"That's for sure," Lana agreed. "Just living here is an education. Talking to people from all the different worlds and timelines and everything!"

"Exactly." Walter nodded again and smiled. "And it means that a lot of us who don't fit in too well at home have the perfect place to fit in here."

"I can't be the only one who is going to find returning home to be quite odd after living here," Walter said. "If nothing else, I will miss some of the technology."

"I'll miss the acceptance," Lana said. "People here let me be who I am. I don't get that at home. And the extra-ordinary being ordinary... I'll miss that too."
