Bel was bored. Boredom might lead to mischief if he didn't distract himself. So he was flipping through the channels of the common room TV, looking for something to watch. Oh, look, wrestling.

"I am not stalking you!" exclaimed Anders. "Geez, get over yourself already!"

"Then why do I see you everywhere I go?" Bel said. "Seriously, I can feel your eyes all over me 24 hours a day almost."

"You're the one who decided to add the Prophecy class that I was already in," Anders pointed out.

"I didn't do that because of you," Bel protested, pouting. "Phoebe and Blair talked me into it."

"Yeah, but I was still there fi -- dude, are you pouting</i?" Anders was kind of severely disturbed by this. There better not be any batting of eyelashes next.

Bel blinked. "Pouting? Me? Of course not."

"You were! You so totally were!" yelled Anders.

Bel gaped at Anders and dramatically brought his hand up to his chest. "I was not!" he said. "You're imaginging things."

"You. Were. So. Pouting," insisted Anders, taking a step toward Bel with each word.

"Would it make you happy if I was?" Bel said. Again with the eye batting.

"Gah! Would you stop that?" Anders howled. And yet, kept moving toward Bel. Granted, the outstretched finger was pretty much accusatory.

Bel may have looked at Anders's finger. Then looked back up at Anders's eyes. Then licked his lips.

All very discretely, of course. It happened so fast it was hard to really tell, even if one were watching.

Anders decided he was hallucinating. Just for the sake of his own sanity.

"Okay, I know you didn't just do what I thought you just did."

"What did I allegedly do?" Bel said.

"There was . . ." Anders looked around furtively, then licked his lips the way Bel had, only not quite as quickly.

Bel blinked at Anders. "Is that supposed to be some sort of come on?" he asked.

"No!" Anders flailed. "That's what you just did! I think!"

"Why would I do that?" Bel said slowly.

"Because you think it's funny to freak me out?" Still flailing.

"Why would me licking my lips make you flail?" Bel said innocently.

"Because . . . gah! I don't know!"

Bel looked at Anders and licked his lips again.
