5th floor common room, Saturday evening

After ~~handwavily~~ planning things with the other sophomores, Tyler's put up a bunch of posters and ordered pizzas of all sorts. He's even managed a tie, and he's sitting with his hands in his pockets watching the door.

He's not exactly nervous of anything except no one showing up.

[OOC: Open, especially for sophomores, and this is post-detention. There is OCD for candidate speeches.]

After, definitely. I'll edit to make that clearer.

Buffy is here to listen. Even though she's a puppy it's important to keep informed. Also she's hoping someone will feed her pizza.

Chad hoped there was lots of this free pizza thing, because he was very hungry. And it took a lot of pizza to take care of Chad-sized hunger.

"You are not a beautiful and unique snowflake," he began.

"You are not your activities, or your weird powers, or the crap that happened to you before you get here, or who your parents are, or which floor you live in, or what classes you take, or how much money you make, or what the people on the radio say about you. You are not the shoes you wear or the year you're from or your Fandom twin. You are the same decaying organic matter as everything else.

But as a part of this compost heap, you have a decision to make. You get to pick three of the people in this class to stand up for you on Student Council, and I hope that on Wednesday, one of the names you'll choose will be mine. I have leadership experience and I'm willing to stand up and say what needs to be said -- even if it's not the pretty-pretty ideas the school administration wants us to buy. I'll do my best to make this class a strong, disciplined machine that can triumph in anything we set our mind to.

Also, if you elect me I'll work to get jello and meatloaf off the menu in the cafeteria and to lift the upper limit on the number of classes students can take. Thank you for your time."

Molly saw one of the posters and decided to go see who besides Tyler was running. Free pizza was a bonus.

"Hi, Buffy!" Molly greeted the puppy with a pat to the head as she sat down.

Buffy licked her hand, then turned to stare pointedly towards the pizza.

Free food, blahblah, plus, Nadia figured she ought to pay attention to politics, even if it's just school politics. So after her planned "adventure" at Cafe Fina, she hit up the campaign thingie.

Molly didn't need her knowledge of the canine language to get the idea. She grinned. "What kind do you want? One with meat on it?"

Of course one of the first things Chad would notice, even before the pizza, would be the puppy. One he didn't know yet, even.

Okay, too many people around here had cute pets. Wondering who this one belonged to, Chad gave the puppy a very, very small smile (which was actually pretty big for Chad), a wave, and offered it a slice of pepperoni.

Chad gave Molly a wave when he spotted her. "Hey, Molly, how are you?"

//Meat good!// Buffy agreed, beaming.

Molly smiled and waved back. "Hi, Chad. I'm pretty good. How are you?"

Oooh. Buffy sniffed the new person curiously before accepting the pizza. //Thank you!// she yipped at him, before settling down with the slice, one paw holding it down as she licked the pepperoni.

Chad gave Nadia a nod in greeting. He would have waved, but he he had a slice of pizza and each hand, which made waving a bit difficult.

Molly chuckled and went and got two slices of meat covered pizza for Buffy and one slice of Hawaiian pizza for herself. She set Buffy's plate down in front of her. "Eat slowly so you don't get pizza sauce all over your fur and let me know if you want more." She sat down again and began to eat her own pizza.

Nadia nodded back.

"Good," he nodded, trying to think of something more to say, but coming up short. So he nodded again and elaborated. "Pretty good."

"How are you liking your classes?"

Without fail, all the melty cute sensors inside of him went into overdrive at that, because yeah. Almost unbearably cute. Of course, all the melting was very well-contained in his unchanged expression, and he looked around the room a little, for some sign of who's dog this might be. The urge to pet was very, very strong, but he'd never want to seem rude.

"I like 'em," Chad shrugged, scratched the back of his head a bit. "Music isn't turning out to be what I expected. And, hey, that thing in science was pretty different, wasn't it?"
