Outside the Dorms, Late Monday Afternoon

Bored as usual, the twins stood underneath the trees outside the dorms, trying to figure out how to climb them since the branches were currently too high to reach by meerly standing. The reason for these attemtps? They saw something glimmering in the top branches of one of the trees and felt the need to investigate.
Sitting on eachother's shoulders was not working either.

Teddy stopped on his way into the dorms to stare at the twins.

"What are you two doing?"

The question had broken their concentration and they wobbled a bit dangerously. "Trying to get the shiney thing from the tree." They both stared back at him and pointed in unison.

Teddy moved forward, ready to catch either of them if they fell.

"I don't think you're going to get it that way."

He looked up at the shiny and then back at the twins before suggesting, "I could give one of you a ride up there if you want."

They both grinned. "That sounds wonderful." Hikaru carefully hopped down from Kaoru's shoulders.

Teddy shrugged his backpack off and started taking off his shirt. "Which one of you will I be carrying?"

Hikaru promptly raised his hand. "Me!"

Does being carried require stripping too?

No, he just likes being sexy and shirtless. And he doesn't want to ruin a shirt doing this. But mostly the sexy.

"Okay then, "Teddy said as his wings grew. He outstretched his arms, "Hop on to the Teddy Express."

Hikaru carefully got on to..wherever he was supposed to for I can't figure out if it's his back or not... and held on.

Totally damsel in distress style, he has wings on his back so, ow.

Teddy flew Hikaru -or was it the other one? Damn identical twins- up toward the top of the tree, and swooped around it, letting him grab whatever was up there.

"Ah! Kaoru! It's a few of our balloons from work!" Hikaru snatched them and waved em around.

Teddy landed, releasing Hikaru from his grip. "There were balloons at Sparky's? Why didn't I get any?"

He totally wasn't pouting.

"We brought them as promotion. Because no one comes by."
"We have extra if you want! Gold and silver~" Hikaru gave Teddy a thumbs up.

Teddy nodded, nobody did ever come by. Unless you count the former owner showing up and freaking him out. Which he didn't.

"Can I have a silver one?"

Matilda finds them there after Teddy helps them up. "Hey guys! Room up there for me too?"

They kick their legs in unison and wave. "Plenty!"

"Up I go then!" She smiles and lets her telekinesis pull her up into the tree and places herself lightly down on the branch next to Kaoru.

"Welcome to our tree!" They both grin and hand her the balloon remains.

She takes it and raises an eye. "Thanks. You guys are really sweet. Trsh is my favorite gift." She laughs and pockets it anyway.

"It's nice up here, isn't it?" Kaoru pointed to the sun.
"Yea, the sun's getting low and everything." Hikaru leaned back on the branch.

Matilda moved a few branches out of their line of sight with a flick of her wrist. "We can watch the sunset from here."

"Oooh." They smile and kick their legs. "How was your day?" Kaoru glanced at her from the side.

"It was nice. I didn't have much to do. I actually was making up my own little language over the weekend. It gave me something to do." She looks a bit embarassed to admitt it.

"Really? If you want an outside opinion, I'd look at it for you." Kaoru smiled and nodded.
"Is it spoken, or written?" Hikaru plucked apart some leaf bundles.

"It's both actually Hikaru." She smiles. "But I'm still working on it a bit more. I'd love to hear what you think when I'm done though." She turned to Kaoru to say the second part.

"Me and Hikaru used to have our own language when we were little. It'd be fun to speak yours and use it."

"It seems like you both still have your own language." She laughed. "But that would be fun! If you like it, we can all speak it together."

The twins nod and grin at her, looking back at the sunset to watch it set beautifully.

She's happy to have friends like them... She's quiet as well, watching the sun sinking.
