The Roof: Wednesday Night

John trundled up his Muhammed Ali grill, extension cord, charcoal Weber grille and charcoal, and cooler full of barbeque-able items up to the roof.

INtermittant thunderstorms be damned.

Wednesday Night Barbeque!

He sets up shop and starts out by firing up the charcoal grill and starting some bacon on the Ali.

Matilda hasn't really been up here yet. The breeze is really quite nice, especially since it's laced with the smell of cooking food. College makes me miss good meat...:( "Oh! Is that you John?"

Teddy had been heading up to the roof for some alone time and was slightly disappointed that people had beat him there.

But those people had a barbeque going on, and he was not one to refuse free food.

"Hey, John!"

Since they were coming up with no ideas for the package, and nothing interesting had been happening, the twins wander up to the roof. "Yo!" They wave to John.

Rolling his eyes at being called 'Tedster', Teddy wandered over to the grill and poked at the charcoal. They glowed a nice dull orange.

"It looks like it."

"Bacon?" They exchange glances. "Sure."

Teddy snagged the Cool Whip (TM) container up and pulled the patties out. He was never going to look at Cool Whip (TM) the same way again.

"How do you want them cooked?"

They do and eat the goodness~ "So...why did you decide to grill now?"

[identity profile] notthehulk.livejournal.com 2006-09-28 02:19 am (UTC)(link)
Teddy looked down at the grill and sighed. Grilling was fun only when someone else did it.

He poked at the burgers a few times and shut the lid.

"So, what brings about this little party of grilled meat?"

"Ha ha. Say... that looks good... can I have some? I skipped dinner."

Naomi hadn't been up to the roof yet and she was feeling restless so she decided to go up for a while, "hey," she said

[identity profile] notthehulk.livejournal.com 2006-09-28 02:26 am (UTC)(link)
Teddy nodded. "Very sound reasoning, but then again anything involving free food sounds like a good idea to me."

Teddy raises his grilling spatula in greeting toward the twins. "Hey!"

[identity profile] notthehulk.livejournal.com 2006-09-28 02:29 am (UTC)(link)
Teddy waved from behind the grill. "Hey!"

[identity profile] ktarian-wildman.livejournal.com 2006-09-28 02:30 am (UTC)(link)
"Hi," Naomi waved in response

"Ah, makes sense. You should buy too much food more often." They smirk in jest and munch happily. It was a good exchange, cupcakes for bacon.
